This is an introductory course in Sociology that expounds on the basic sociological concepts of group, culture, socialization, deviance, stratification, population, reproductive health and development. Employing a cross-cultural approach, the Philippines is made as the focal point, comparing the similarities and differences it has with other societies in the global community.
