XU MAERS partners with PJRS, plants 5,000 mangrove seedlings in Macajalar Bay Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan is a Filipino, Catholic, and Jesuit University forming leaders of character for the needs of Mindanao, the Philippines, and Asia-Pacific.

In partnership with the Philippine Jesuit Refugee Service, the Xavier University - Mckeough Advancement for Environment, Resilience, and Sustainability Center successfully planted mangrove seedings during their first mangrove planting last 9 and 10 April 2026 in Kinoguitan and Balingasag.
