đ⨠HISTORIC MILESTONE FOR BULUA NHS â¨đ
Bulua National High School proudly launches the maiden issue of the Journal of Disaster Readiness, Climate Action, and STEM Education (Vol. 1, Nos. 1 & 2)âthe first-ever DepEd student research journal in the Division of Cagayan de Oro City dedicated to DRRM, climate change adaptation, and STEM education.
Featuring 14 student-led research articles, this journal reflects a growing culture of evidence-based practice in the Senior High School program, where science informs school safety protocols, climate resilience, and institutional governance.
This landmark initiative was made possible through the strong leadership of School Principal Mapangcat U. Mama, Jr. and the tireless editorial work of Editor-in-Chief Mark John T. Gabuleâsetting a model for research-driven school leadership.
đ The journal will be officially launched during Brigada Eskwela in the last week of May 2026, with free copies distributed to STEM students of the Class of 2026.
đ One featured study will be presented at an international environmental science conference, highlighting student climate action using the Earth Hero app.
đ The journal is also set for ISSN registration with the National Library of the Philippines.

đˇđ˛Empowering Journeys: BNHS Faculty Embark on Bukidnon Tour for National Womenâs Month 2026
In celebration of National Womenâs Month 2026, more than 50 faculty members of Bulua National High School (BNHS) took part in an enriching and empowering educational tour across Impasug-ong and Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. With three air-conditioned vans and several teachers driving their own vehicles, the convoy made its way to the highlands uniting the schoolâs educators in a day dedicated to empowerment, reflection, and cultural appreciation.
Anchored on the activity âEmpowering Journeys: Womenâs Month Faculty Tour,â the activity served as the culminating event of BNHSâs monthlong Gender and Development (GAD) celebration. True to its purpose, the tour placed emphasis not only on relaxation and camaraderie but also on reaffirming the facultyâs commitment to women empowerment, equitable participation, and gender-responsive education.

Yesterdayâs celebration was a powerful reminder of what community, perseverance, and family truly mean. The 9th Graduation Ceremony of Bulua National High School â Senior High School was an unforgettable milestone, graced by our dedicated school administration, honored DepEd leaders, and our esteemed Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Marife A. Ramos, who served as the Confirming Officer and delivered a heartfelt message on behalf of the DepEd Secretary.
One of the most touching highlights of the event was when parents and guardians took the stage to bow alongside their graduates â a symbolic gesture honoring every parentâs unwavering support, sacrifices, and love throughout their childâs academic journey. â¤ď¸
Our graduates proudly marched in their blue toga and caps, with their achievements showcased on the large LED screen that lit up the gym â featuring their awards, honors, and portrait photos for all to see. đâ¨
