Under the leadership of our Schools Division Superintendent, Christopher R. Diaz, CESO V, the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD), through the collaborative efforts of the School Health and Nutrition Section (SHNS) and Youth Formation Section (YFS), successfully spearheaded the 2026 Division Training on Peer Health Navigation on Mental Health Awareness & Adolescent Health Issues held on September 2-7, 2026 at the Event Center of St. Vincent College of Cabuyao.
The activity brought together the Presidents of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) and Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), together with their advisers, from secondary schools across the Division of Cabuyao.
The training provided our youth leaders with essential knowledge and practical skills on mental health awareness, adolescent health, peer counseling and support, crisis response, referral mechanisms, digital well-being, gender sensitivity, and HIV awarenessโpreparing them to become responsible and compassionate Peer Health Navigators in their respective schools.
