1. Ano ang bagong school calendar na ito?
Ito ay trimester system, ibig sabihin ang school year ay hinati sa 3 bahagi (terms) imbes na 4 na quarters.

2. Ilang araw papasok ang mga bata?
May kabuuang 201 class days sa buong school year.

6. Ano ang “Instructional Block”?
Ito ang panahon kung saan:
May regular na pagtuturo

7. Ano ang “Enrichment Block”?
Ito ay para sa:
Remedial classes (para sa nahihirapan)
Advanced activities (para sa mabilis matuto)
Mga projects at performance tasks

8. Mas mapapagod ba ang mga bata?
Posibleng oo kung hindi maayos ang pacing, pero may enrichment period para makahabol at makabawi ang learners.

9. May break ba sa pagitan ng terms?
Walang mahabang bakasyon kada term, pero may lightened activities sa enrichment weeks.

10. Paano kung nahihirapan ang anak ko?
May nakalaan na enrichment/remediation period para matulungan siya bago matapos ang term.

Karaniwang ibibigay ang grades bawat term (3 beses sa isang taon).

No teacher is “bobo.” Every dedicated teacher is a gem.

When a teacher is always present, reports to class on time, prepares well-crafted lesson plans, maintains accurate records and forms, and attends to the individual needs of learners—we have found a true gem in our school.

Teaching is not an easy profession. It demands patience, competence, emotional strength, and genuine care. A teacher who consistently shows up—not just physically but professionally and wholeheartedly—deserves recognition and respect.

I firmly believe that no teacher is “bobo.” Every teacher is trained, capable, and continuously learning. Challenges in the system do not define a teacher’s intelligence or worth. What defines a teacher is dedication, integrity, and commitment to learners.

While public discussions on education may sometimes be influenced by perspectives of personalities such as Clarita Carlos, it is important to remember that the everyday reality inside classrooms tells a deeper story. Our teachers work beyond hours, extend compassion beyond expectations, and serve beyond obligation.

📌 ALAMIN: DepEd Trimester Proposal para sa SY 2026–2027

Marami ang nagtatanong tungkol sa planong Trimester System ng Department of Education (DepEd). Narito ang malinaw, organisado, at madaling maunawaan na gabay para sa ating mga g**o, magulang, at mag-aaral.

🔎 Ano ang Trimester Proposal?

Ang trimester ay panukalang paghahati ng school year sa tatlong academic terms sa halip na apat na quarter.

Layunin nitong gawing mas tuloy-tuloy, mas organisado, at mas nakatuon sa tunay na pagkatuto ang school calendar.

🎯 Bakit Ito Isinusulong?

Layunin ng panukala na:

• Magkaroon ng mas mahabang tuloy-tuloy na oras ng pagtuturo
• Bawasan ang administrative workload ng mga g**o
• Ayusin ang pacing ng aralin at maiwasan ang madalas na pagkaantala
• Mas mapalakas ang holistic learning at learner support

📅 Paano Hahatiin ang School Year?

May humigit-kumulang 201 school days na hahatiin sa tatlong termino:

• First Term: Hunyo – Setyembre
• Second Term: Setyembre – Disyembre
• Third Term: Enero – Marso

Bawat Term ay may dalawang bahagi:

📘 Instructional Block – Tuloy-tuloy na pagtuturo
📗 Enrichment Block – Remediation, assessment, planning, wellness, at learner support

📝 Ano ang Mangyayari sa Mga Pagsusulit?

Sa ilalim ng trimester system:

• May Term Exams sa dulo ng bawat termino
• Ang dating Quarter Exams ay iaangkop sa tatlong pangunahing pagsusulit bawat taon
• Magpapatuloy ang formative at periodic assessments
• Mas bibigyang-diin ang mastery of competencies kaysa dami ng exams

👉 Ibig sabihin: Mas kaunti ngunit mas makabuluhan ang major examinations.

📚 May Pagbabago ba sa Curriculum?

Hindi nilalaman ang binabago, kundi ang paraan ng paghahatid ng pagkatuto.

• Walang malawakang pagbabago sa K to 12 Curriculum
• Mananatili ang learning competencies, subjects, at standards
• Inaayos lamang ang pacing, sequencing, at implementation
• Mas nakatuon sa deep learning, remediation, at enrichment kaysa memorization

• Mas mahabang oras para sa de-kalidad na pagtuturo
• May malinaw na panahon para sa planning at checking
• Mas balanseng workload
• Mas kaunting pagkaantala sa klase

👨‍👩‍👧 Epekto sa mga Mag-aaral at Magulang

• Mas malinaw ang daloy ng aralin bawat termino
• May sapat na panahon para sa remediation at enrichment
• Mas nakatuon sa tunay na pagkatuto, hindi lang sa dami ng gawain

📌 Kailan Ito Planong Ipatupad?

Target na maipatupad sa School Year 2026–2027, depende sa pinal na pag-apruba at implementasyon ng DepEd.

Ang Trimester Proposal ay isang hakbang tungo sa mas epektibo, mas makatao, at mas learner-centered na sistema ng edukasyon — kung saan mas mahalaga ang lalim ng pagkatuto kaysa dami ng gawain.
