Today, our 47 SHS students take their first step into real work experiences—applying lessons beyond the four walls of the classroom. This journey will help them discover their strengths, explore their interests, and shape the professionals they will become.

Strong leadership, stronger partnership 💙
Through the guidance of School Principal Dr. Rommel P. Tarun, and the initiative of the PTA President Paquito Bimmahat, our community stakeholders come together early Saturday morning to work on the construction of the new school flagpole. This project stands as a shining example of bayanihan, collaboration, and shared commitment toward the continuous progress of our beloved school. Together, we build not only structures but a stronger and more united school community.

𝐁𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭

Burgos National High School participated in the LIKHARAYA 2024 - Division Level on November 23 at NEAP, Gundaway, Cabarroguis, Quirino.

Tandem readers Ms. Precious Grace Q. Agas, English teacher and Gyn Dwyght Albinto, Grade 12 student garnered 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞.

They read the story, “Ang Misyon ni Gamo-gamo” which narrates about a flying termite who's looking for a friend, faced a lot of struggles, yet displayed determination and perseverance which led him to success. The story underscored resiliency, also.

Mrs. Jennifer B. Acosta, Regional Finalist of the same event trained the tandem again, to establish connections to the audience as they creatively and strategically read the story.

LIKHARAYA which features Reading in Tandem is one of the highlights and onsite contested activities in celebration of the 90th National Book Week and one of the programs of Discover, Advance, eXcel: Readership Enrichment Venture to Unluck Potential (DAX-REV-UP).
