Cassandra Tiffany C. Cayme Earns 4th Place in Regional Science and Technology Fair 2025.

On November 27 and 28, 2025, Cauayan City National High School proudly hosted the Regional Science and Technology Fair (RSTF) 2025. The event gathered bright young minds from 9 competing SDOs of Region 02 showcasing innovative projects across various scientific disciplines.

Among the talented participants, Cassandra Tiffany C. Cayme, an elementary student, earned the 4th place award in the Poster Making Contest. Her creative and informative work stood out among numerous entries, reflecting her dedication and skill.

Cassandra Tiffany was guided and supported by her coach, Rosalyn C. Guevarra, whose mentorship played a vital role in reparation for the contest. The school head, Joel Santiago JD, expressed pride in their accomplishments and encouraged continuous pursuit of excellence in science and technology.

The RSTF 2025 provided an excellent platform for students to explore scientific ideas, develop critical thinking, and foster collaboration within the region's educational community.

SMES Bags Multiple Awards in 2025 Division Schools Press Conference

San Marcos Elementary School (SMES) proudly brought home numerous awards after an impressive performance at the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held at QG from November 19–21, 2025.

Participating young campus journalists from SMES showcased their skills across various journalism categories, earning recognition and solidifying the school’s commitment to nurturing future writers and media practitioners.

Among the winners were:

Science Writing English: Neil Jan Bahuyang – 2rd Place, Regional Qualifier

Editorial Cartooning English: Louie Jane Selgas – 3rd Place, Regional Qualifier

Editorial Writing Filipino: Loraine D. Villanueva – 4th Place

News Writing English: Kaesha Maureen Orpia – 6th Place

Column Writing Filipino: Kisses N. Dela Peña – 8th Place

Collaborative and Desktop Publishing- Geraiah Samantha L. Viloria and Kailey P. Reyes– 2nd Place

School coaches Margie L. Ventura and Rosalyn C. Guevarra expressed pride in the students’ achievements, noting that the results reflect the hard work, discipline, and passion of the young journalists.

School principal Joel C. Santiago also commended the team for bringing honor to SMES and emphasized the school’s continuous support for campus journalism programs.

The SMES family likewise extended their gratitude to their barangay captain for providing transportation assistance to the writers, as well as to the parents for their unwavering support throughout the competition.

With these accomplishments, SMES continues to inspire excellence and strengthen its presence in the field of campus journalism.

Cassandra Tiffany C. Cayme Wins Division Science and Technology Fair, Will Represent Quirino

Saguday Central School, November 17, 2025-Cassandra Tiffany C. Cayme secured first place at the Division Science and Technology Fair 2025, where she competed with students from nine districts across Quirino province.

Her dedication and excellent performance earned her the championship title. Cassandra is set to represent Quirino in the upcoming regional competition.

Her coach, Rosalyn C. Guevarra, expressed great pride in Cassandra’s determination and outstanding accomplishment. Meanwhile, school principal Sir Joel C. Santiago congratulated her and encouraged her to continue striving for success as she prepares to showcase her talents at the regional competition.

CNSAT, November 7, 2025 - San Marcos Elementary School team brought home several awards from the recent District Schools Press Conference held at CNSAT on November 5-7, 2025.

The event, which aimed to promote campus journalism and media literacy among students, saw SMES pupils excel in various categories.
