Tuned to Learn:A Symphony of Teachers Empowering Emerging Readers

Alternative Teaching is to work with one small group of students needing remediation, enrichment, or any other type of specialized support, while that other teacher still instructs the remaining students. This co-teaching style enables more targeted instruction and supports learning gaps for students. Alternative Teaching, Where the co-teachers worked with a selected group of students needing targeted instruction or remediation while the other one continued teaching the larger group.

Multiple co-teaching models and approaches were used to ensure student learning needs were addressed and successfully implemented instruction. The key strategies included: One Teach, One Observe, One Teach, One Assist, Team Teaching, and Alternative Teaching.
