Announcement:
In accordance with the recently issued CHED Memorandum Order No. 02 s. 2019, the NEUST-Center for Indigenous Peoples Education (CIPE) in partnership with the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples-Nueva Ecija Provincial Office (NCIP-NEPO) will be sponsoring a REGIONAL TRAINING ON THE INTEGRATION OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLES' EDUCATION INTO THE RELEVANT HIGHER EDUCATION CURRICULA".
All Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Region III, preferably 5 participants (administrator, curriculum developer, faculty members) from each institution are invited to attend and participate in the training which will be held on August 1-2, 2019 at the Rico Fajardo Hall, NEUST Sumacab Campus, Sumacab Este, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
The objective of the training is to build the capacity of HEIs on the following:
1. Content, process, and implementation mechanisms of the CMO No. 02 s. 2019
2. Integration of IP Studies/Education on subjects such as History, Social Science, Political Science, Community Development, etc.
3. Preparation of Syllabi
4. Collating of reference materials
5. Submission of compliance documents with reference to the implementation of CMO No. 2 s. 2019
