𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐍𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐎 𝐍𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐀

𝑴𝒔. 𝑵𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒃𝒆𝒍 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒐𝒂𝒏𝒈's journey from serving as a Nursing Student Officer – Vice President for SY 2021–2022 at MVGFC to becoming a Nurse Officer of the Philippine Coast Guard is a story of a dream fulfilled through leadership, discipline, learning, and service.

Her years at MVGFC helped shape not only her knowledge and skills as a nurse, but also her character, leadership, discipline, and commitment to service. Along the way, the guidance and dedication of her mentors played an important role in her journey, especially the late Ms. Rosalyn B. Bilog, Dean of Nursing, whose mentorship became one of the keys that helped her reach where she is today.

Today, she carries the lessons and values she gained from her alma mater onboard a 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥, where she serves as a 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫. Her profession now takes her beyond the classroom and into the sea, where she provides healthcare support to fellow Coast Guard personnel while taking part in operations around Bajo de Masinloc and the West Philippine Sea in fulfillment of the Philippine Coast Guard’s mission.

From a nursing student who once dreamed of serving, she is now 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒂—bringing with her the lessons of her mentors, the values instilled by MVGFC, and the support of the people who believed in her.

Her story reminds us that 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒔𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒚 𝒂 𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒅 𝒐𝒏 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒔—it can become a foundation for a lifetime of meaningful service.

This is her Leadership Legacy.

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨, 𝙎𝙚𝙘. 𝙅𝙖𝙯!

From serving as our 𝙎𝙎𝘾 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 to taking on another opportunity to represent the student community as the 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝟭 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮 𝗘𝗰𝗶𝗷𝗮 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (NEFESCO), a youth organization bringing together student leaders from various colleges and universities across Nueva Ecija.

May you use this platform to listen, represent, and serve with dedication. May every responsibility become an opportunity to create meaningful experiences for the students you represent.

As we face another round of exams, remember that every page you study, every sleepless review, and every effort you make is still a step forward. Trust what you’ve learned, do your best, and keep going!

So take a breath, trust yourself, and face those exams one page at a time.
