OP Memorandum No. 262, s. 2026 is released today for dissemination, following the announcements of the City Governments of Butuan and Cabadbaran.
However, Golden Paddlers from the School of Medicine (SOM) and the Graduate School (GS) may conduct in-person classes when appropriate, following careful assessment of protective measures to ensure student safety and comfort.
Personnel, both teaching and non-teaching, will still physically report to their respective campuses. Full details are reflected in the Memorandum.

CITTE successfully launched its community extension through Dressmaking Training for Parents and Out-of-School Youth on July 10, 2026, with the training conducted for beneficiaries from Barangay Kauswagan, Cabadbaran City. The project was implemented under the Skills Training Extension Program (STEP) for Human Capital Development (HuCaD), advancing CITTE’s commitment to providing skills-based learning opportunities that can contribute to livelihood development.
The first day focused on the orientation of participants, laboratory rules and safety, introductions, and the administration of the pre-test, establishing a strong foundation for the succeeding training sessions.
The activity was made possible through the efforts of Program Leader Ms. Daisy Jane L. Bascon, Project Leader Ms. Cecil R. Polongasa, Project Members Ms. Cheela Mae C. Castro and Ms. Rica Florabel N. Remulta, and student facilitators from BTLED Home Economics, BTVTED Garments and Fashion Design, and BIndTech Apparel and Fashion Technology.
Through this collaborative effort, CITTE strengthened its commitment to community engagement, skills development, and livelihood empowerment, bringing learning opportunities closer to the community of Barangay Kauswagan.
