HIV Prevention Starts with Us ❤️

Protecting ourselves and others from HIV begins with awareness and responsible choices. One way to prevent HIV is through abstinence, which means choosing not to engage in sexual activity. Practicing safe methods, such as using protection and avoiding sharing needles, can also greatly reduce the risk of transmission. Another important step is regular HIV testing, which helps people know their status early and seek proper care if needed.

Education and spreading awareness are also powerful tools in preventing HIV. By learning the facts and sharing correct information, we can reduce stigma, encourage safe behaviors, and support those affected by HIV. Together, through knowledge, responsibility, and compassion, we can help stop the spread of HIV and build a healthier community. 💙

Know the Signs & Symptoms of HIV 💡

HIV can be tricky because some people don’t show symptoms for years, but early detection is key to staying healthy.

Early symptoms may include fever, sore throat, rash, swollen lymph nodes, fatigue, and muscle aches. If untreated, late symptoms can appear, such as rapid weight loss, long-lasting fever, frequent infections, skin sores, and extreme tiredness.

Recognizing these signs and getting tested regularly can save lives. Don’t wait—know your status and stay healthy! ❤️

Let’s break the stigma and spread the truth about HIV.

HIV is NOT transmitted through hugging, sharing food, using the same utensils, shaking hands, or simply being around someone. Casual contact does not spread HIV.

Education is powerful. When we understand the facts, we replace fear with compassion and discrimination with support. 💙

🔴 HIV: Myth vs. Fact 🔴

Let’s break the stigma by spreading the truth! 💡 HIV is NOT transmitted through hugging, sharing food, mosquito bites, sweat, or simply being near someone. These are common myths that cause fear and discrimination.

✅ HIV is transmitted through specific body fluids such as blood, semen, vaginal fluids, re**al fluids, and breast milk — most commonly through unprotected sexual contact, sharing needles, infected blood transfusion, or from mother to child without proper treatment.

Knowledge is power. The more we understand the facts, the more we can protect ourselves and support others with respect and compassion. 💖 Let’s choose awareness over fear and facts over myths.
