An advocacy initiative of Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) that raises awareness on the harmful effects of smoking, va**ng, drugs, and alcohol while promoting healthy, alert, and purpose-driven lifestyles among learners. Through discussions, interactive activities, and youth engagement, Project B.A.W.A.L empowers students to make responsible choices and help build a vice-free school environment.

The BKB Officers of Agusan National High School took part in Youth’s Choice: A Drug-Free Life, a meaningful regional gathering that brought together young advocates striving for healthier, safer communities.

Throughout the sessions, the officers gained broader perspectives on youth empowerment, community responsibility, and the importance of making choices that build a positive and drug-free environment for all. The experience strengthened their dedication to lead by example and support initiatives that uplift and protect their fellow learners. 💚

With renewed purpose, the BKB continues its mission of promoting awareness, fostering resilience, and encouraging every learner to choose a brighter, bisyo-free path. ✨

Regional-wide National Children’s Month Celebration! 🎉✨

Our Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB) booth stood as a vibrant and welcoming space where students were encouraged to learn, reflect, and be inspired. ✨

Through the simple act of giving out colorful flaglets filled with positive words, uplifting reminders, and meaningful advocacies, we aimed to spread awareness on making good choices, staying away from harmful vices, and building a school community anchored in wellness and resilience.

A Meaningful and Empowering Symposium!
We, from Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB), are deeply grateful to the OKD Organization for inviting us to take part in not just one, but two powerful symposiums held last July 30, 2025.

The first focused on the importance of vaccination, while the second tackled the dangers of smoking and va**ng. Both events were filled with meaningful discussions, eye-opening facts, and powerful reminders for us to make healthier and wiser choices in life.
