THANK YOU, EVERYONE. This has been ICARES 2025.
The recently concluded "International Conference on Climate Action, Resilience, and Environmental Sustainability (ICARES) 2025" has been a remarkable success, and we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this event possible.
We are truly honored by the unwavering support of our University President, Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, whose leadership and vision continue to inspire us in advancing meaningful research and advocacy for sustainability. Our sincere thanks also go to the Office of the Vice President for Research and Development, Innovation and Extension, headed by Dr. Jeffrey T. Dellosa, for their invaluable guidance throughout the preparations. A huge ‘thank you’ to all the Vice Presidents whose untiring support for the sucess of the overall LIKHA Summit 2025 have truly made significant impact.
Special recognition is also given to the LIKHA Summit Organizing Committee, chaired by Dr. Jaymer Jayoma, for their dedication and tireless efforts in ensuring the success of ICARES 2025.
We likewise extend our heartfelt appreciation to our committed college Deans:
• Dr. Roger T. Sarmiento – College of Forestry and Environmental Sciences
• Dr. Elizabeth Parac – College of Agriculture and Agri-Industries
• Professor Henson Dejarme – College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
Your leadership and support were instrumental in the smooth coordination of this global gathering.
This milestone would not have been possible without the significant contributions of our working committees, panel of paper evaluators, and the tireless energy of our volunteers. Your teamwork, passion, and dedication truly brought ICARES 2025 to life.
A special mention also goes to Mr. Robert Louis B. Bebis for designing the official logo of ICARES, a symbol that reflects our collective commitment to climate action and sustainability.
As we celebrate the success of ICARES 2025, we are already looking forward with excitement and optimism to next year’s edition of the conference. Together, let us continue shaping a future built on resilience, innovation, and environmental stewardship.
Note: This page will continually give updates on the progress of the remarkable agreements being agreed upon, proposals being discussed, the collaborations being institutionalized, and the ways forward.
