Survived the struggles, the endless challenges, and the heavy crash of Wave 1...but if it’s not with you, what’s the prize? I reach out into the void, staring at my screen, longing for the peace we lost. Prelims are finally done, pero ngano wala gihapon ta nag-break og contact? Why are you still haunting my study sessions? But still, congrats to us, Stallions for surviving Prelims.🐎✨

With grateful hearts, we honor the outgoing College of Arts and Sciences Local Student Government officers for a year filled with dedication, resilience, and selfless service. Like a stallion charging confidently toward new horizons while remaining true to its roots, the College of Arts and Sciences proudly unveils its new official logo, a defining milestone in its transition from the Arts and Sciences Program to the College of Arts and Sciences.

More than a visual identity, the new CAS logo embodies the College’s history, mission, and academic structure while remaining firmly anchored in the heritage of Father Saturnino Urios University. At its heart is the University’s coat of arms, crowned by the IHS Sunburst, affirming the College’s place within the Urios community and its enduring commitment to the Catholic and Jesuit ideals of faith, excellence, service, and holistic formation.

The shield is divided into three sections representing the College’s academic divisions: the Natural Sciences and Mathematics Division (upper left section), the Social Sciences Division (upper right section), and the Humanities Division (lower section). The inscription 1955 honors the College’s beginnings under the Liberal Arts, paying tribute to decades of academic excellence and service.

Encircling the shield are laurel branches, symbolizing honor, achievement, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge. The outer circular band preserves the familiar design of the former Arts and Sciences Program logo, with its updated name reflecting the College’s new status while honoring the legacy that has shaped its journey.

As the Stallion strides boldly into this new chapter, it carries with it the strength of its heritage, the courage to embrace change, and an unwavering commitment to forming graduates who will lead with competence, character, and compassion.
