๐๐ก ๐ฃ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฆ: The National Service Training Program (NSTP) Conducted a Freshmen Students' Orientation.
180800H JULY 2026 The National Service Training Program (NSTP) successfully conducted a ROTC-CWTS Orientation for incoming freshmen at the Burauen Community College Multi-purpose Building.
The program formally started with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by the Invocation and the Bagong Pilipinas Hymn. CWTS Staff, Aljon M. Juatas, delivered his welcome remarks, warmly greet the freshmen and encouraging them to actively participate in the National Service Training Program.
The NSTP Orientation was spearheaded by Judy C. Olaya, RCrim, NSTP Director, who presented the key components of the program and highlighted its objectives, significance, and benefits to the students. Likewise, Ruel A. Mesario, MAED, CWTS Coordinator, provided a brief overview of the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and its role in nation-building. LTC JOEL P BALAGOT GSC (FS) PA, also discussed the importance of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) and inspired the students to become part of the country's reserve force.
Furthermore, Sir Judy C. Olaya, oriented the students on the proper bearing and discipline expected of cadets during Sunday training and guided them on the correct completion of the enrollment forms. The orientation was also attended by Admin NCO- CPL Vicente B. Obaob (Inf) PA, Tactical NCOs, and Graduate Military Assistants (GMAs), whose presence reinforced the conduct of the activity and provided support throughout the orientation.
Lastly, Sir Imar O. Taganna, ROTC Coordinator, concluded the program with his closing remarks.
