With the rainy season creating favorable conditions for mosquito breeding, Saint Tonis College, Inc. (STCI) turned its attention to one of the simplest yet most powerful weapons against dengue: a clean and mosquito-free environment.

Today, the STCI community came together for Oplan Taob, a school-wide clean-up and dengue prevention initiative spearheaded by the Human Resource Office. The activity focused on eliminating areas that could become potential breeding sites for ๐“๐“ฎ๐“ญ๐“ฎ๐“ผ mosquitoes.

More than an ordinary clean-up drive, Oplan Taob reflected STCI's commitment to protecting the health and safety of its students, faculty, and personnel.

JUST IN | Where Prayers Rise, Learning Begins: STCI Dedicates the 2nd Floor of Its New Academic Building

Saint Tonis College, Inc. (STCI) officially marked another milestone in its commitment to academic excellence and infrastructure development through the Prayer and Dedication Ceremony of the second floor of the New Academic School Building held today, August 11, 2026.

The ceremony brought together members of the STCI community, including BOT members, administrators, faculty and staff, and students, in a moment of thanksgiving and dedication for the newly completed learning facility. The event was led by the school administration and centered on prayers of gratitude, guidance, and blessing as the second floor of the building is formally opened for academic use.

The dedication ceremony included prayers for the students who will occupy the classrooms, the teachers who will guide them, and the staff who will maintain the facility. The blessing of the classrooms and common areas served as a meaningful reminder that every learning space at STCI is dedicated to the service of God and the holistic formation of its learners.

The opening of the second floor of the new SHS Building is expected to enhance the learning experience of Senior High School students by providing additional classrooms and improved educational facilities that support quality instruction and student development.

NEWS | STCI Expands Educational Network Through MOA Signing with IA During Centennial Celebration

Saint Tonis College, Inc. (STCI) strengthened its commitment to academic collaboration and regional educational development through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Ifugao Academy (IA) during the celebration of the academyโ€™s Centennial Anniversary in Kiangan, Ifugaoโ€”August 8, 2026.

Representing STCI were Dr. Kathleen Rose L. Guimbatan, School President, Dr. Rosiebille C. Galban, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Mr. Wilbur Jose P. Balinsat, Vice President for Operations and Finance. The STCI delegation attended the centennial celebration as a gesture of solidarity and partnership with one of the regionโ€™s long-standing Christian educational institutions.

Taking advantage of the gathering of educational leaders and partner institutions, STCI and IA formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Agreement for membership in the STCI Consortium, marking a significant milestone in both institutionsโ€™ shared pursuit of quality education, innovation, and institutional cooperation.

The agreement establishes a framework for future collaborative initiatives, including faculty and student development programs, academic exchanges, research collaboration, extension and community engagement activities, leadership training, and other mutually beneficial educational endeavors. Through the consortium, member institutions will have greater opportunities to share resources, expertise, and best practices that promote excellence and sustainability in education.

The MOA signing was held alongside the centennial festivities of Ifugao Academy, which celebrated 100 years of Godโ€™s faithfulness and enduring grace throughout the generations. The event brought together students, alumni, educators, church leaders, community stakeholders, and partner institutions in a day of thanksgiving, historical reflection, and renewed commitment to Christian education.

Saint Tonis College, Inc. (STCI) stood in solidarity with one of the regionโ€™s enduring educational institutions as Ifugao Academy formally opened the celebration of its Centennial Anniversary on August 8, 2026 in Kiangan, Ifugao.

Representing STCI were Dr. Kathleen Rose L. Guimbatan, School President, together with Dr. Rosiebille C. Galban, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Wilbur Jose P. Balinsat, Vice President for Operations and Finance. Their presence reflected STCIโ€™s commitment to strengthening partnerships among educational institutions and honoring milestones that celebrate faith, service, and excellence in education.

IN PHOTOS | STCI-UCCP-CECS Celebrates Nutrition Month 2026

Capitol Early Childhood School (CECS), under the management of Saint Tonis College, Inc. (STCI), culminated its Nutrition Month Celebration 2026 through a meaningful and joyful program centered on the theme, โ€œSa PPAN: Sama-Sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!โ€โ€”July 31, 2026.

The celebration brought together pupils, teachers, parents, and school administrators in promoting the importance of proper nutrition and healthy food choices among young learners. Through a vibrant combination of messages, educational activities, action dances, games, and fellowship, the program transformed nutrition education into an engaging experience for children.

Adding color and energy to the celebration was the Nutrition Action Dance Presentation, featuring performances from the different classes and a Zumba dance for parents and guardians. The pupils also participated in exciting Nutrition Games, reinforcing the lessons of healthy eating through fun and interactive activities.

The celebration also recognized the pupils who stood out in the Best Nutri Costume competition, with certificates, trophies, and prizes awarded to the winners.

More than a celebration, the activity served as a reminder that building healthy habits begins in childhood. With the collective efforts of the school, families, and community, STCI UCCP-CECS continues to nurture not only young minds but also healthier and more responsible future generations.
