Nurturing Faith Through the Holy Eucharist

As part of St. Thomas Aquinas School of Bulacao (Montessori), Inc.'s commitment to its Institutional Core Value of Faith, the school community gathered for a Holy Mass on Friday, July 17, 2026, held at the school grounds. The Eucharistic Celebration was solemnly presided over by Rev. Fr. Wenefredo Cueva.

The celebration was attended by the STAS administrators, faculty, staff, students, and parents, reflecting the strong partnership between the school and families in nurturing the spiritual growth of every Thomasian. The Scripture readings and Prayer of the Faithful were led by selected STAS students, who actively participated in the liturgy with reverence and confidence.

In his homily, Fr. Cueva encouraged everyone to keep God at the center of their lives and to live out the values of faith, hope, and love in their daily actions. The Holy Mass served as a moment of thanksgiving for God's blessings and an opportunity to seek His guidance and protection for the new school year.

Through this meaningful celebration, STAS continues to fulfill its mission of forming learners who are not only academically competent but also spiritually grounded and morally upright. By gathering as one community in prayer and worship, the school reinforces the importance of faith as the foundation of a meaningful and purposeful life.

May this Eucharistic Celebration inspire every Thomasian to grow closer to God and faithfully live out the school's mission and values in service to others.

SSC Election 2026: Empowering Student Leadership Through Democratic Participation

The Student Supreme Council (SSC) Election 2026 of St. Thomas Aquinas School of Bulacao (Montessori), Inc. was successfully conducted from July 10 to 13, 2026, highlighting the school's commitment to developing responsible, competent, and service-oriented student leaders. The four-day electoral process provided students with an opportunity to exercise their right to vote while promoting the values of leadership, accountability, and democracy.

The election officially commenced on July 10, 2026, with the campaign period, where the two competing political parties, ASCEND and ROYALE, visited the classrooms of Grades 4 to 10. During the classroom campaigns, the candidates introduced themselves, shared their platforms of governance, and encouraged their fellow Thomasians to become informed and responsible voters.

On July 11, 2026, the school held the "Meet the Avanci" (Meet the Aspirants) forum, giving students the opportunity to interact directly with the candidates. Learners from different grade levels actively participated by asking questions regarding the candidates' proposed programs, leadership plans, and commitments to the student body. This activity allowed voters to make informed decisions based on the candidates' qualifications, vision, and readiness to serve.

The much-awaited Election Day took place on July 12, 2026, where students from the eligible grade levels cast their votes through a fair, orderly, and transparent electoral process. The activity reflected the importance of honesty, integrity, and respect for the democratic process.

The election concluded on July 13, 2026, with the Proclamation of Winners followed by the Oath-Taking Ceremony, where the newly elected SSC officers formally accepted their responsibilities as the student leaders for School Year 2026–2027.

The newly elected officers are:
President: Lord Cedric Cisneros (ASCEND)
Vice President – Internal Affairs: Mikayla Audrey Pareja (ASCEND)
Vice President – External Affairs: Shelby Ross Rodemio (ASCEND)
Secretary: Lucas Cutamora (ASCEND)
Treasurer: Zeena Bacang (ASCEND)
Auditor: Raylee Megan Hynson (ASCEND)
Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.): Navjot Singh (ASCEND)

The school extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the newly elected SSC officers and expresses its appreciation to every candidate from both the ASCEND and ROYALE parties for their courage, dedication, and willingness to serve. Regardless of the election results, each candidate demonstrated exemplary leadership and inspired fellow Thomasians to participate actively in student governance.
May the newly elected Student Supreme Council officers lead with integrity, humility, and a genuine commitment to serving the Thomasian community as they continue to uphold the school's mission of forming competent, compassionate, and values-driven future leaders.
