Meycauayan College, Inc. proudly supports the advocacy of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across Central Luzon in the observance of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week (NCPW), September 1–7, 2026, with the theme:

“Strengthening Civilian Oversight and Collective Action for Safer Communities.”

As an institution committed to excellence and dedicated to service, Meycauayan College recognizes that crime prevention is not the responsibility of a single sector; it is a shared responsibility. Building safer communities requires the active participation of schools, families, government institutions, students, educators, and the community.

As a higher education institution, we believe that education is a powerful tool for prevention. By nurturing responsible, informed, respectful, and socially aware students, we help build communities where safety, accountability, justice, and peace are valued and practiced.

SHIFT TO ONLINE CLASSES
SEPTEMBER 1–4, 2026

In consideration of the recent flooding and to give way to our students, faculty, and staff who have been affected by the situation, all classes will shift to online modality from September 1–4, 2026.

This temporary arrangement is intended to provide everyone with sufficient time to recover, attend to their families, and ensure their safety during this challenging situation.

The safety, health, and well-being of our students remain our utmost concern. We encourage everyone to stay safe, monitor official advisories, and avoid unnecessary travel while the situation persists.

Let us continue to look after one another and extend understanding and compassion to those affected by the flood.

Stay safe, everyone!
