Class Suspension Advisory

Face-to-face classes for all levels are suspended today, September 10, 2026, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135 released by the Office of the President in Malacañang in anticipation of heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon.

Regarding the scheduled examinations, they will be rescheduled in the next face-to-face classes.

All classes will shift to Asynchronous online learning. Please refer to the instruction posted in the Google Classroom stream. If you have any concern, you may contact the class adviser.

Moreover, the Admission Office will remain open to receive concerns and process usual transactions.

Class Suspension Advisory

Face-to-face classes are suspended for the afternoon session today, September 9, 2026, starting at 12:00 noon, as per the announcement by the Municipality of Santa Maria due to inclement weather.

Regarding the scheduled examination for CASA pupils, it will proceed as scheduled but will be shortened. The pupils will be dismissed at 12:00 noon.

Grade 12 students will shift to synchronous online classes instead. Parents and students are asked to prepare the necessary devices, learning space, and stable internet connection for successful delivery of online classes. In case of concerns, you may contact the class adviser.

The Admission Office will remain open until 5:00 p.m. to receive concerns and process usual transactions.

The suspension is based on Memorandum Curcular No. 134 issued by the Office of the President concerning the anticipated continued heavy rainfall associated with enhanced Southwest Moonson.

Alinsunod sa rekomendasyon ng mga kasama natin sa Santa Maria Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, #𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐤 sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan, ALL LEVELS, ngayong araw, September 3, 2026 (Huwebes), Batay sa PAGASA National Impact Table for Flood, na inilabas ng PAGASA Regional Weather Forecasting Center, isinasaalang-alang ang posibilidad ng epekto ng pagbaha sa kaligtasan, transportasyon, mobility at normal na operasyon ng mga paaralan.

Kanselado ang Face-to-Face Classes at hinihikayat ang mga paaralan na magpatupad ng Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) para sa pagpapatuloy ng pag-aaral batay sa ipinatutupad na alituntunin ng DEPED.

This recommendation is being made as a precautionary measure to protect the safety of learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, considering the possibility of heavy rainfall, flooding, difficult road conditions, and other rainfall-related hazards.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

By the approval of the MDRRMC Chairman, Honorable Municipal Mayor Bartolome R. “Omeng” Ramos, face-to-face classes for all levels, both public and private, in the Municipality of Santa Maria, Bulacan, are suspended tomorrow, August 28, 2026.

This suspension is based on PAGASA Impact-Based Forecast No. 22, issued at 3:00 PM on August 27, 2026, concerning heavy rains and possible flooding due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat). Santa Maria, Bulacan has been identified under SIGNIFICANT IMPACT for August 28, 2026, with a MEDIUM likelihood.

The suspension is implemented as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, considering the possibility of heavy rainfall, flooding, difficult road conditions, and other rainfall-related hazards.

Schools are advised to implement Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) or other appropriate learning continuity measures, consistent with existing DepEd policies.
