A CHRISTIAN SCHOOL PARENTS’ BATTLE PLAN: How to Prepare Your Kids to Change the World for Jesus

Many parents assume Christian school will create on-fire disciples—but it doesn’t work automatically. After years preaching in Christian school chapels, I’ve learned that solid doctrine doesn’t always produce surrendered hearts.

Our kids graduated from a Christian school—and we’re grateful.

But many of their classmates later walked away from their faith.

Because no school can replace parents who take responsibility for discipling their kids.

That’s the secret:
Parents who lead the way ignite their children’s faith.

THE BATTLE PLAN

1. Model the Mission. (Matthew 28:19)

The biggest impact happened outside the school. I took our kids with me to share the Gospel. Their faith became a mission—not a theory.

2. Talk About Jesus Daily. (Deuteronomy 6:7)

Make Jesus normal in your home.

3. Teach Discernment, Not Isolation. (Romans 12:2)

Screens bring the world into their hearts. Teach them to think biblically.

4. Relationship Over Rules.
(Col. 2:23)

Rules inform. Relationship transforms.

5. Pray Like Their Souls Depend on It. (Ephesians 6:18)

Because they do. Only the Holy Spirit transforms hearts.

No school can take your place.

Lead boldly.

Live the Gospel in the wild.
