GUIDANCE COUNSELOR

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a graduate of AB/BS Psychology, Behavioral Science or BSEd Major in Guidance Counseling
- Holder of a Valid PRC License for Guidance Counselor (or with ongoing application) is an advantage
- With pleasing personality and good moral character
- Can work well with children and staff in a school setting
- Proficient in English and Tagalog, both oral and written
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; software and app literate

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess student learning levels and behavior
- Interprets student intelligence, personality, and social quotient test results
- Recognize student academic /behavior difficulties, recommends (if applicable) necessary academic/behavior therapies or counseling
- Prepares, designs, implements guidance programs for different grade levels
- May be assigned other tasks or responsibilities the job may require

- Must possess a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Elementary Education Major in Pre-School Education (BEEd – Pre School Education)
- Holder of a Professional Teacher’s License is an advantage

- Must be willing to undergo further training on the Montessori way of teaching and learning
- Highly organized and detail oriented; with pleasing personality and good moral character
- Proficient in Tagalog and English both oral and written

- Experienced user of a Learning Management System (LMS) or Moodle

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Library Science (BLS) / Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) or Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE) / Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (BSEEd) with Major or Minor in Library Science
- Certification by the Board for Librarians (or professional license holder) is an advantage
- Highly organized; must know how to catalog / arrange existing inventory and tag new books
- Fast learner and willing to undergo further training while on the job
- With pleasing personality and good moral character
- Can work well with children and staff in a school setting
- Proficient in English and Tagalog, both oral and written; computer and technology literate
- Must be willing to perform administrative tasks and assist in the Admin Office as needed
