The 238th Department of Military Science and Tactics, First City Providential College conducted Week 11 of the 2nd Semester Training, highlighting discipline, endurance, and academic readiness as the cadets faced their Midterm Examination.

The day began with a Physical Fitness Test (PFT), challenging the cadetsโ€™ strength, stamina, and overall physical capability. This was followed by a rank inspection to ensure proper bearing and uniformity, along with stationary drills that showcased their precision, coordination, and discipline.

After the training activities, the cadets proceeded with their Midterm Examination, demonstrating their knowledge and understanding of military concepts and principles learned throughout the semester.

This training was spearheaded by Sgt Mark June Gasgas PAFR, with the assistance of the Advance Officers of the Cadet Corps, whose leadership and guidance ensured the success of the entire activity.

Week 11 reflects the balance of physical readiness, discipline, and intellectual growth, proving that every cadet continues to strive for excellence in all aspects of training.

The day began with a rank inspection to ensure proper bearing and uniformity, followed by a Pass in Review led by the 1st Class and 2nd Class Advance Officers with the support of our VRI ๐—ฆ๐—ด๐˜ ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ธ ๐—๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐—š๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ด๐—ฎ๐˜€ ๐—ฃ๐—”๐—™๐—ฅ, where cadets demonstrated coordination, precision, and command presence.

After the formal training, the cadets proceeded with a Team Building Activity spearheaded by our Commandant,๐Ÿฎ๐—Ÿ๐—ง ๐—š๐—Ÿ๐—˜๐—ก ๐— ๐—”๐—ฅ๐—ž ๐—ฉ ๐—”๐—ฌ๐—ข๐—ฃ. The activity created an atmosphere of fun, energy, and unity as the cadets actively participated and enjoyed every moment.

Throughout the activities, the cadets showcased strong teamwork, cooperation, and camaraderie, proving that beyond discipline and drills, the Corps is built on trust, unity, and shared experiences.

Week 10 serves as a reminder that while training shapes skills and discipline, it is teamwork and unity that strengthen the bond of the Cadet Corps.

This March, the Cadet Corps of First City Providential College has once again demonstrated excellence in sports, bringing pride and honor to the institution through outstanding performance, teamwork, and determination.

The 238th Department of Military Science and Tactics, First City Providential College, carried out Week 8 of the 2nd Semester Training, continuing to enhance the discipline, knowledge, and preparedness of the Cadet Corps.

The training day began with a morning exercise to strengthen the cadetsโ€™ physical endurance and readiness. This was followed by stationary drills and a Pass in Review, led by the 1st Class and 2nd Class Advance Officers under the guidance of AM Laconsay, where cadets displayed improved coordination, precision, and teamwork in their formations.

The cadets then proceeded with an informative lecture conducted by our MTI, AM Laconsay.

To conclude the training, the cadets participated in dry firing exercises to familiarize themselves with the proper handling and operation of the rifle. This activity prepares them for future live range training by ensuring they understand the correct procedures, safety measures, and discipline required when handling fi****ms.

Through continuous training and guidance, the Cadet Corps continues to develop not only their physical strength and military skills but also the discipline, responsibility, and confidence expected of every cadet.

The day started with a morning exercise to build physical endurance and readiness, followed by a rank inspection to ensure proper bearing, uniformity, and adherence to military standards. After the training activities, the cadets proceeded with the cleaning of their Area of Responsibility (AOR), reinforcing the importance of discipline, responsibility, and teamwork in maintaining an orderly training environment.

At the end of the dayโ€™s training, the Cadet Corps focused on physical development, discipline, and camaraderie, reminding every cadet that ROTC training not only develops strength and skills but also builds character, leadership, and a strong sense of duty within the Corps.

Watch the highlights of the Public Speaking Activity of the First Class and Second Class Advance Officers of First City Providential College where confidence is built, voices are strengthened, and leaders are shaped.

Public speaking is more than delivering words before an audience. It is the discipline of organizing thoughts under pressure, the courage to stand with conviction, and the responsibility to communicate with clarity and purpose. Through this activity, cadets developed command presence, sharpened their articulation, and strengthened their ability to influence and inspire.

In the Cadet Corps, leadership is not only demonstrated in drills and formations it is proven in the ability to speak with confidence, lead with conviction, and communicate with integrity.

The 238th Department of Military Science and Tactics of First City Providential College successfully conducted Week 6 of the 2nd Semester Training, a day marked by discipline, leadership, and academic excellence.

The training commenced with morning physical exercises, reinforcing the cadetsโ€™ endurance, resilience, and mental readiness. This was followed by a rank inspection, ensuring proper bearing, uniform compliance, and strict adherence to military standards.

Cadets then executed close order drills under the supervision of the 1st Class and 2nd Class Advance Officers, exhibiting precision, confidence, and strong command presence in every movement a true reflection of their continuous training and dedication.

As part of the academic component of the program, cadets undertook their Preliminary Examination for the 2nd Semester, demonstrating not only physical capability but also their mastery of military knowledge and core principles.

The day concluded with a Public Speaking activity conducted by the Advance Officers as part of their Program of Instruction (POI). This initiative aimed to strengthen leadership communication skills and build confidence in addressing the Corps.
