Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 19, 2026:

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Dahil sa malalakas na pag-ulan na dulot ng pinaigting na Habagat, suspendido ang face-to-face classes bukas, Agosto 19, 2026 (Miyerkules) para sa Kinder hanggang College sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa Bayan ng San Miguel. Alinsunod sa inilabas na Memorandum, ang mga Government Offices ay magsasagawa ng Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangement upang mapanatili ang kaligtasan ng ating mga kawani habang patuloy na ginagampanan ang kanilang mga tungkulin.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat ng ating mga kababayang San Migueleño na manatiling maingat, umiwas sa mga lugar na maaaring bahain o magkaroon ng pagguho ng lupa, at patuloy na subaybayan ang mga opisyal na anunsyo mula sa Lokal na Pamahalaan ng San Miguel at iba pang kinauukulang ahensya.

NO CLASSES

Due to the heavy rainfall caused by the intensified Habagat, face-to-face classes will be suspended tomorrow, August 18, 2026 (Tuesday) for all public and private schools in the town of San Miguel. In accordance with the issued Memorandum, Government Offices will implement a Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangement to ensure the safety of our personnel while they continue to perform their duties.

We urge all our fellow San Miguel residents to remain cautious, avoid areas that may be flooded or have landslides, and continue to monitor official announcements from the San Miguel Local Government and other concerned agencies.
