The Jolly Reader

Before preschoolers can read, we teach them letter sounds by way of songs and actions and also through the initial sounds of familiar words. Letter sounds are introduced systematically beginning with the most frequently used. After learning a few sounds, they can begin blending letter sounds to make a word. They will be able to read CVC words which, we hope for every child, is the beginning of a lifelong relationship with reading.
