HONORING THE COLORS: RETIREMENT OF THE WORN-OUT PHILIPPINE FLAG 🇵🇭

In accordance with Republic Act No. 8491 (The Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines), Palsong National High School solemnly conducted the Retirement Ceremony for a Worn-Out Philippine Flag yesterday, July 31, 2026.

A flag worn out through wear and tear is never simply discarded—it is retired with the utmost dignity and respect through solemn burning. Led by our school head, Dr. Salve V. De la Cruz, alongside BSP Coordinator Cherry V. Lozano, Head Teacher I Analyn B. Corral, Zenaida G. Delloro and Fegin F. Olleres, our dedicated personnel, BSP scouts, and students rendered their final salute to the faded flag. This heartfelt moment honored its long service under the sun and rain as a sacred symbol of our nation's freedom and unity.

Our deepest gratitude goes to our school leadership and the entire BSP unit for spearheading this meaningful event and instilling a deep sense of reverence in our learners.

May the spirit of patriotism continue to burn bright within the PNHS community.
