CALL FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION and PRE-REGISTRATION

IAIS 2026 is a forward-looking forum designed to bridge the gap between traditional educational structures and the rapidly evolving technological and professional landscape.

Registration Details
> Registration Fee: Local: ₱850.00; International: $15.00
> Last day of Registration: June 30, 2026

Submission Guidelines
> All abstracts must be submitted via the official online submission portal.
> Language: English
> Word Count: Maximum 250 words (excluding title, affiliations, and keywords).
> Format: Word Document (.doc or .docx).
> Originality: Abstracts must be original work.
> Structure: The abstract must contain the following to be eligible for the best presentation or best assessment innovation awards: Introduction/Background, Purpose/Objectives, Methodology, Results/Findings, Conclusions, and Implications.

Submission Categories
Authors must select one of the following categories for their submission:
> Research Work: Focuses on empirical studies, theoretical frameworks, or systematic reviews.
> Best Practices: Focuses on innovative assessment, strategies, institutional policies, or community-based interventions that have demonstrated success in assessing what truly matters.

1. Assessment in the Post-AI Era
> Cognitive Offloading: Research on how AI tools change the way students process and retain information.
> Proctored vs. Authentic: Comparative studies on traditional testing versus project-based assessment in a digital world.
> AI-Enhanced Feedback: The effectiveness of immediate, AI-generated formative feedback on student learning outcomes.
2. The Future of Institutional Quality Assurance
> Redefining Excellence: New metrics for academic success beyond standardized test scores.
> Micro-credentials & Stackable Degrees: Validating niche skills and their impact on graduate employability in the 2026 job market.
> Data-Informed Policy: Using predictive analytics to identify at-risk students before assessment failures occur.
3. Universal Design & Inclusive Innovation
> Equitable Access: Assessing the digital divide in regional education and
innovative ways to bridge it.
> Diversity in Assessment: Designing flexible assessment tools that
accommodate diverse learning styles and cognitive profiles.
4. Classroom Innovation Spotlights
> The Hybrid Classroom: Successful models for balancing synchronous
and asynchronous learning.
> Gamified Assessments: Showcasing the use of game mechanics to
increase student engagement in testing.
> Virtual Laboratories: Innovation in assessing practical skills
through VR and AR simulations.
5. Other Institutional, Classroom, or Student-Initiated Innovations
> e.g. Gamified Assessments, Peer-to-peer assessment, Assessing
self-regulated learning, Best practices for a holistic “final exam,
Inclusive assessment of differentiated outputs, etc.

Your registration will be sent to you together with the Notice of Acceptance. Please note that your abstract needs to align to the themes for both research works and best practices categories to be accepted and eligible for the Best Presentation (Sharing of Research Works) and Best Innovation (Sharing of Best Practices) Awards.
