LOOK | Term 1 PTA Conference, SMEA, and Card Giving

​Abang Elementary School, under the leadership of School Head Ma'am Amelia B. Tubaña, successfully conducted its Term 1 Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Conference, School-Based Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment (SMEA), and Card Distribution today.

​The activity aimed to strengthen the partnership between the school, parents, and community stakeholders. During the assembly, parents were updated on the school’s academic progress, institutional targets, and upcoming projects. The event concluded with the distribution of report cards, giving parents and teachers a meaningful opportunity to discuss learners' academic performance and personal growth.

2nd Day of INSET

Another productive day marked the second day of the In-Service Training (INSET) at Abang Elementary School.Teachers actively participated in the learning sessions, collaborative discussions, and the preparation of outputs that reflected their understanding and application of the topics discussed, all geared toward improving teaching practices and learner outcomes.

In the afternoon, a certificate awarding ceremony was conducted to recognize the valuable contributions of the resource speakers and the active participation of the attendees. The day concluded with teachers feeling inspired, empowered, and more equipped to provide quality education for their learners.

Today, Abang Elementary School, under the leadership of Ma’am Amelia B. Tubaña, successfully conducted Day 1 of the School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) for teachers, focusing on the theme:

📚 “Instructional Refinement in Promoting Literacy and Numeracy in Key Stages 1 and 2 for Effective Learning Delivery.”

The training aims to strengthen teachers’ knowledge, skills, and instructional practices in developing learners’ literacy and numeracy competencies. It provides teachers with meaningful opportunities to explore effective teaching strategies, innovative approaches, and practical interventions that can help address learners’ diverse needs and improve classroom learning outcomes.

Day 1 was filled with valuable discussions, collaborative activities, sharing of best practices, and professional learning as our teachers continued to enhance their teaching expertise and strengthen their commitment to providing quality education.

Through this INSET, the teaching force of Abang Elementary School continues to embrace continuous professional development, reflective practice, and instructional innovation, all geared toward creating more effective, engaging, and learner-centered educational experiences.

JUST IN | BUCAY-MANABO DISTRICT ZONAL KIDDIE FESTIVAL

Today, Abang Elementary School, headed by Ma’am Amelia B. Tubaña, successfully hosted and conducted the Bucay-Manabo District Zonal Kiddie Festival, bringing together Kindergarten learners from different schools across the Bucay and Manabo Districts, along with their respective school heads and teachers.

The activity provided our young learners with a meaningful opportunity to showcase their talents, build confidence, foster friendship, and enjoy a fun-filled day of learning and camaraderie.

We sincerely extend our heartfelt gratitude to the judges for generously sharing their time, expertise, and fair judgment, which greatly contributed to the success of the event.

Our deepest appreciation also goes to our Barangay Officials for their invaluable assistance in ensuring the safety and security of everyone throughout the activity.

LOOK | Term 1 Examination and School Head Monitoring

Today, the dedicated teachers of Abang Elementary School successfully administered the first day of the Term 1 Examination for S.Y. 2026–2027. The examination aims to assess learners’ knowledge, skills, and understanding of the lessons and competencies covered during the term.

Meanwhile, Ma’am Amelia B. Tubaña, Head Teacher I, closely monitored the learners as they took their examinations, ensuring that the assessment was conducted in an orderly, fair, and conducive learning environment.
