📢 CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY | ABANG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

In view of the advisory from the Provincial Government of Abra and upon the recommendation of DepEd-Abra, all face-to-face classes from Kindergarten to Senior High School are suspended on August 17, 2026 to ensure the safety and well-being of learners and school personnel.

JUST IN | LAC Session on Classroom Assessment and Grading System (Term Examination)

Ma'am Amelia B. Tubaña, Head Teacher I of Abang Elementary School, spearheaded a Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session on Classroom Assessment and the Grading System in line with DepEd Order No. 15, s. 2025.

The session focused on the updated classroom assessment guidelines, including the preparation of term examinations and the proper implementation of the grading system. Teachers actively shared their insights and best practices, strengthening their commitment to fair, accurate, and standards-based assessment for quality learning.

No storm can break our goals, and no typhoon can stop the pursuit of learning. 💪📖

Despite the challenges brought by Typhoon Maymay, Abang Elementary School shifted to Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) to ensure the continuity of learning and keep our learners on track.

Our dedicated teachers prepared and printed learning modules, which were distributed to learners for them to accomplish at home. Through the commitment and cooperation of our teachers, learners, and parents, education continues even beyond the four walls of the classroom.
