The Palawan State University – Brooke’s Point Campus, in partnership with the Brooke’s Point Municipal Police Station, successfully conducted the Graduation Ceremony for the BS Criminology Educational Training Program (ETP) Class of 2026 on May 13, 2026, held at the PSU Gymnasium, Brooke’s Point Campus.

The ceremony highlighted the successful completion of the students’ educational training program, which served as an avenue for strengthening their knowledge, discipline, leadership, and practical understanding of law enforcement and public safety operations.

The event was attended by Dr. Sandra S. Manzul, the OIC Cluster Dean, Sir Jerden A. Macolor, the OIC Campus Director, police officers led by PMAJ Micheal Von L. Agbisit, the Acting COP of Brooke’s Point Municipal Police Station, faculty members headed by Ma'am Meriam A. Dero, RCrim, MSCJ., and the Guest of Honor of Speaker, ASN Joshua A. Sapitula-PCG, guests, and parents who witnessed the recognition of the students’ dedication and accomplishments throughout the training program.

The Criminology Department extends its sincerest gratitude to the Brooke’s Point Municipal Police Station for their invaluable support and contribution to the success of their internship program. The Criminology Department of Palawan State University – Brooke’s Point Campus proudly conducted its Graduation Ceremony on May 12, 2026 at Maruyog Ridge, Brooke's Point, Palawan in celebration of the successful completion of the Internship Program in partnership with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office- Brooke's Point.

The ceremony was graced by distinguished officials, including Cesareo R. Benedito Jr., Sandra S. Manzul, and Jerden A. Macolor, who delivered inspiring messages highlighting the values of professionalism, discipline, and genuine public service.

The event featured the awarding of certificates of completion, recognition of outstanding interns for exemplary performance, and appreciation of dedicated training personnel who contributed to the success of the program. More than a celebration of achievement, the ceremony marked a meaningful transition for these future criminologists from academic preparation to practical field experience in public safety, disaster response, and community service.

On May 10, 2026, the 2nd Year Criminology students of Palawan State University – Brooke’s Point Campus successfully conducted an activity on Marksmanship and Combat Shooting as a mandatory requirement in their course subject held at Sitio Panirisan, Sofroñio Española, Palawan in partnership with the Provincial Mobile Force Company. The training was facilitated by their instructor, George Ventura, LPT, RCrim. with the guidance and support of Meriam A. Dero, RCrim, MSCJ., Program Head of the Criminology Department.

The activity included lectures on firearm fundamentals, gun safety orientation, proper disassembly and assembly of fi****ms, and actual firing exercises designed to enhance the students’ discipline, accuracy, responsibility, and tactical skills in firearm handling.

The Department of Criminology of Palawan State University – Brooke’s Point Campus extends its sincere gratitude to the Provincial Mobile Force Company for their invaluable support, expertise, and dedication in facilitating the Marksmanship and Combat Shooting training activity.

The department also expresses its heartfelt appreciation to Ipilan Nickel Corporation for generously providing transportation assistance to the students, ensuring their safe and convenient travel throughout the activity.

Palawan State University- Office of the Student Affairs and Services Division, through the Admission Services Unit, has officially released the list of successful passers of the recent PSU College Admission Test for the Bachelor of Science in Criminology at PSU Brooke’s Point Campus for the First Semester, Academic Year 2026-2027.

A total of 100 students have met the admission requirements and are now eligible to enroll in the criminology program. This achievement marks the beginning of your academic journey toward becoming dedicated professionals in the field of law enforcement and public safety.

On April 10, 2026, Criminology students gathered for one of the most anticipated highlights of Criminology Day- the Crim Night Gala, a night filled with elegance, celebration, and togetherness.

Dressed in their finest attire, students showcased confidence and style as they stepped into an evening that celebrated not only achievements, but also the strong bond shared within the Criminology community.

Beyond the glamour and lights, the event highlighted the camaraderie and unity of every Criminology student, making the night more meaningful as everyone celebrated as one family.

The Criminology Department of Palawan State University – Brooke’s Point Del Sur Campus with the assistance of Criminology Students Organization - Psu Brooke's Point Campus held a Testimonial Program to honor the newly Registered Criminologists from the recent February 2026 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE) on April 17, 2026 at PSU Brooke's Point Gymnasium. This ceremony serves as a profound testament to the academic achievement and perseverance of its graduates. The program commenced with the opening remarks of Mr. Jerden A. Macolor, the OIC Campus Director and inspirational message of Dr. Sandra S. Manzul, the OIC Cluster Dean alongside a heartfelf keynote address by distinguished Guest of Honor and Speaker, our very own alumnus Pat. Maverick John Bandoriao.

A highlight of the ceremony was the testimonial of Ryan Ceasar C. Dadoy, RCrim., whose exemplary 89.70% GWA stands as a beacon of academic excellence for the institution. By awarding certificates of recognition to the honorees and appreciation to their parents, the department highlighted the indispensable role of support networks in achieving professional milestones, while simultaneously reinforcing its mission to cultivate the future pillars of public safety and the justice system.

The event ended with the closing remarks of Ms Meriam A. Dero, the program head of the department then followed by the photo opportunity and dinner.
