𝙇𝙊𝙊𝙆 | The accreditation continued with a visit to several notable facilities and offices of the institution at around 10:50 a.m. today. The first stop was the First Administration Building, which was established in 2009. The building is one of the places that reflect the institution’s history and development over the years.

Then proceeded to the Cultural Hall, where visitors were given a glimpse of the artistic talents within the school community. According to Dr. Alvin Ferrer, the paintings displayed inside the hall were created by students. The artworks serve not only as decorations but also as reflections of the learners' creativity and skills.

The tour continued at the Student Organizations and Advisers Office. Dr. Amalfi B. Tabin Jr. shared that having a dedicated office for coaches and advisers is a positive development. The space enables them to fulfill their responsibilities and provide guidance and support to student organizations.

Another notable stop was the PCB Museum, where Dr. Alvin Ferrer shared an interesting story about the school community’s connection to the film industry. He mentioned that Marvin Dizon had been featured in Espantaho, highlighting the achievements and experiences of individuals connected to the institution.

The visit to these different areas showed that PCB is more than just a place for academic learning. Its buildings, student artworks, organizations, and the achievements of its community members all contribute to the institution’s identity and history. From students' paintings to the recognition of a school community member in a film, these stories reflect the talents, experiences, and accomplishments that make the school community unique.

𝙇𝙊𝙊𝙆 | The Polytechnic College of Botolan Dance Troupe (BCAEd) led by Dr. Alvin Ferrer, recently took center stage to deliver a captivating cultural performance of the Habanera Narcisa during the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants Zambales Chapter’s high-profile event, held on July 24, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Villanueva Hall in the Municipal Building of Botolan, Zambales, expertly guided by one of the masters of ceremonies Ma’am Mary Rose Sonajo (PCB Instructor). This milestone gathering effectively united regional professionals, local government authorities, and academic institutions for a day dedicated to rigorous professional governance, community celebration, and regional arts.

The gathering was designed for two main goals, kicking off with an in-depth seminar that broke down the core rules of RA 12009 (the New Government Procurement Act) and its implementing regulations to help professionals catch up on major shifts in fiscal governance. After the morning discussions wrapped up, the afternoon pivoted to a more celebratory vibe, featuring the official induction and turnover ceremonies for the PICPA Zambales Chapter. To give the formal program some rich local flair, a vibrant cultural intermission highlighted regional artistry and infused the event with an energetic community spirit as the new chapter leadership, under President Sir Don Mark Dolojan, was sworn in.

Ultimately, blending student performance and academic figures, such as the dance troupe, demonstrated the strength and cooperation between professional accounting groups and local schools. By mixing crucial legal updates with cultural displays, the meetup really highlighted why regional talent and teamwork matter so much for driving professional excellence all across Zambales.

128𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐂𝐄

In celebration of the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence, the Polytechnic College of Botolan (PCB), led by College President Dr. Mary Grace S. Manangan and School Administrator Dr. Joy P. Cortez, joined the Municipal Government of Botolan in commemorating this significant national event.

The celebration was held in front of the Municipal Hall, bringing together municipal officials, staff, and the teaching and non-teaching personnel of PCB. The event paid tribute to the sacrifices and heroism of the country's national heroes, while also recognizing the invaluable contributions of modern-day heroes who continue to serve the nation and their communities.

As part of the celebration, the Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education (BCAEd) program, under the leadership of Dr. Alvin Ferrer, made a meaningful contribution by creating one of the backdrops used during the event. The project was spearheaded by Marvin Dizon, together with the dedicated BCAEd apprentices, showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and commitment to supporting community activities.

𝗔 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻

Take a look behind the scenes of the Pinta Ha Balin Workshop conducted on June 08-09, 2026, featuring the BCAed Apprenticeship students as they transformed their creativity into a meaningful cultural artwork.

Inspired by the rich heritage of the Ayta community, the students created a unique installation that combines paintings and handcrafted figures depicting scenes of Ayta life, traditions, and connection to nature. Through this project, they not only developed their artistic skills but also deepened their appreciation for the cultural stories that shape our local identity.

This remarkable piece is now on display at the Balin Pamana Botolan Heritage Center, where it serves as a tribute to the living heritage of Botolan and its people.

🎨𝗣𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗛𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻: 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽🎨

Kasalukuyang isinasagawa sa Balin Pamana Botolan Heritage Center ang Pinta Ha Balin: Seminar at Workshop, kung saan pinaunlakan ni G. Marvin A. Dizon ang programa upang ibahagi ang kanyang kaalaman, karanasan, at kasanayan sa larangan ng pagpipinta. Si G. Dizon ay isa sa mga kinikilalang lokal na pintor ng Botolan na patuloy na nagbibigay-inspirasyon sa mga nagnanais matuto at paunlarin ang kanilang kakayahan sa sining.

Dinaluhan ang seminar at workshop ng mga mag-aaral ng BCAED–PCB na kasalukuyang sumasailalim sa kanilang apprenticeship program. Naging pagkakataon ito upang mapalalim ang kanilang pag-unawa sa sining ng pagpipinta at matuto mula sa isang aktibong alagad ng sining sa ating bayan.

Layunin ng programang ito na maibahagi sa mas maraming tao ang kahalagahan ng sining bilang bahagi ng ating kultura at pagkakakilanlan. Sa Botolan, ang pagpipinta ay hindi lamang isang anyo ng malikhaing pagpapahayag kundi isa ring mahalagang bahagi ng mga programang pangkultura na nagtatampok sa talento at husay ng mga lokal na artists. Sa pamamagitan ng mga ganitong inisyatiba, patuloy nating kinikilala at itinataguyod ang mayamang sining at kultura ng mga Botoleño.
