Too often we celebrate the loud wins. The launches, the milestones, the moments with fireworks and a party.

But some of the best things happening never make it to the highlight reel.

Last week, in Kuala Lumpur, we ran a transformational leadership program with a room full of people willing to be honest, and a team that has grown together over the years.

No fanfare. No big announcement. Just relationships built slowly, and impact we’ve created together, one program at a time - over many decades.

There’s a particular kind of trust that only comes from doing this work again and again, with the same people, over years.

You learn each other’s rhythms. You stop performing for one another and start actually showing up. That’s not something you can manufacture in a single big moment. It’s built in the small ones, the ones nobody’s filming.

I want to start celebrating those, too. The quiet ones. The steady ones. The ones that don’t ask to be seen but shape everything anyway.💞✨

What are you celebrating today?🥳🥳🥳

Yayoi Kusama and her infinite dots.

Wherever I traveled, if a Kusama exhibition was there, so was I. No living artist did I chase more closely, or love more fiercely. Her worlds folded me into them, mirror rooms and endless polka dots stretching past where I could see. Her joy became mine. And sometimes, so did her sadness, her anxiety, glimpses of a mind she never asked us to look away from.

She turned her struggle into something the whole world could stand inside. She let us see the storm and the beauty it made. Thank you, Kusama, for your honesty, your obsession, your infinity. You will be missed, but you are everywhere now, in every dot.

“I fight pain, anxiety, and fear every day, and the only method I have found that relieves my illness is to keep creating art.” — Yayoi Kusama 🟠⚫️🔴🔵🟢⚫️⚪️

What an incredible experience facilitating the Neurodiversity Masterclass with Yasodha Rajadurai!
Yasodha Rajadurai
We spent our weekend with a room of professionals and coaches who came ready to go deeper: to become more trauma-informed, more neuro-affirming, and to carry that lens into how they lead, coach, parent and show up in the workplace.

I learned so much myself just being in that space. We shared personal experiences, we learned from each other, and there was a rawness and honesty in the room that reminded me why this work matters. Trauma-informed, neuro-affirming practice isn’t a checklist, it’s a way of seeing people, and rooms like this one are where that shift actually starts.

Grateful to everyone who showed up fully and to Yasodha for co-creating this with me.

Doctor by training, coach by calling, healer at heart. I spent years in hospital corridors before I understood that real healing isn’t just clinical — it’s somatic, spiritual, deeply human.

Now I bring all of it: medicine, psychology, coaching, trauma release, inner child work — to help people find their way through the messy middle of life, leadership, and parenting.

I talk about it on my podcast, Unpolished Wisdom. But the realest classroom has always been home — as daughter, sister, wife, mom of three, dog mom to two ridiculously spoiled fur babies… still learning as I go, every single day. ❤️

Currently ditching the myth of “having it all” and needing to have it all figured out. Turns out the messy middle was never something to survive. It’s where the becoming happens. ✨

Every transition begins with an ending.

We don’t say that enough. We celebrate the fresh start, the next chapter, the new beginning. But before any of it, something has to end.

Lately I’ve been living in a season of endings. Graduations. Families moving countries. Clients closing chapters they thought were permanent: a marriage, a relationship, a job, a whole version of a life.

There can be sadness or even anger at an ending. I have to remind myself that we can’t author what comes next until we let ourselves grieve what was lost.

What came up for me in my journaling today is this: How we handle an ending often matters more than how it began. And in the middle, in that tender, unfinished space William Bridges called the neutral zone (check out his book “Transitions”), I ask myself:

Who do I decide to be, while everything is changing?

That, to me, is the most beautiful part. Not the arrival. The becoming.

What ending are you sitting with right now? 👇And whats the next chapter you are writing?
