Classes remain suspended tomorrow (August 19, 2026 - Wednesday) due to the current weather conditions. In line with Memorandum Circular No. 129, the school will shift to Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) to ensure learning continuity.

Students are advised to coordinate with their subject teachers and check class group chats for lessons and instructions.

Samantala, ang mga 𝐤𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐲𝐨 𝐚𝐭 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐢-𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧 kung magsasagawa ng suspensyon ng klase, alinsunod sa kanilang sariling assessment at mga umiiral na polisiya.

𝗩𝗕𝗬𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗞𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗦 𝗢𝗙𝗙 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
To officially start a week-long celebration of sports, teamwork, and physical fitness, Vicente B. Ylagan National High School officially opened Intramurals 2026 despite unstable weather on August 11, 2026.

Accompanied by the school's marching band, RHYTHMnBEATS, students and teachers of VBYNHS paraded outside the campus with each family gathered accordingly, wearing their respective family colors.

This year, four families will compete with one another. For instance, Family 1 is named the Blue Centaurs, Family 2 is Pink Pegasi, Family 3 is Yellow Minotaurs, and lastly, Family 4 is the Green Cyclopes.

After the parade, students and teachers gathered for a short program as part of the opening. It was hosted by the SSLG's newly appointed President, Diana Mae Panganiban, together with SSLG Treasurer, Sam Nepthali A. Roldan.

The program started with a prayer led by Ma'am Melinda Mongado, followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Franchesca Rafol, SSLG Vice President, and the VBYNHS Hymn. It was opened formally after Sir Jonathan Girao, Junior High School Coordinator delivered his opening remarks, emphasizing the virtue of sports and sportsmanship.

This was followed by the Oath of Amateurism, led by Vincent Kis-ing, baseball player, and the lighting of the torch by the previous MRAA players. Each family's muse and es**rt then raised their banners, with the Pink Pegasi finishing first.

After this, the SSLG Adviser and Sports Coordinator, Sir Harry Engelo A. Paala, announced the officials assigned for each game.

After the clarifications, the program concluded as athletes prepared themselves for the competitions. Several games had already begun while others will start tomorrow.
