Dumalo si Vice Mayor Jayson Barcelona, kasama sina Konsehal Jeffrey Alea, Konsehal Arnold Villanueva, Konsehal Melody Monreal, at SK President Jheremy Roman Ferias Abel, sa Formon National High School upang makiisa at magbahagi ng mahahalagang kaalaman sa ginanap na 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 ngayong Lunes.

Sa isinagawang programa, Binigyang diin ni Vice-Mayor Jayson Vice Mayor Jayson Barcelona ang kahalagahan ng 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐭 (𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟏𝟑𝟏𝟑), isang batas na naglalayong protektahan ang bawat indibidwal laban sa gender-based sexual harassment sa mga pampublikong lugar, paaralan, lugar ng trabaho, at maging sa online platforms. Ipinaalala sa mga estudyante na may mga batas na nagtatanggol sa kanilang mga karapatan at may mga institusyong handang umalalay at kumilos upang matiyak ang kanilang kaligtasan at kapakanan.

Binigyang-diin ng ating mga Konsehal at ni Sk President ang napakahalagang papel ng self-protection sa buhay ng bawat kabataang babae. Sa panahon ngayon, mahalagang magkaroon ng sapat na kaalaman at tamang pag-iingat upang maprotektahan ang sarili mula sa iba't ibang uri ng pang-aabuso, karahasan, panliligalig, at iba pang banta — hindi lamang sa personal na pakikisalamuha kundi maging sa digital na mundo at paggamit ng social media.

Ipinabatid din sa mga mag-aaral ang kahalagahan ng pagiging mapanuri, matapang na magsumbong sa mga kinauukulan kapag may nararanasang hindi kanais-nais, at ang kahalagahan ng paghingi ng tulong sa mga magulang, g**o, at iba pang mapagkakatiwalaang nakatatanda. Ang pagbibigay ng tamang kaalaman sa murang edad ay isang mahalagang hakbang upang mabuo ang kanilang kumpiyansa, kakayahang magdesisyon, at pagpapahalaga sa sariling dignidad.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | Formon National High School Conducts Campus-Wide Bag Inspection to Strengthen Student Safety

In line with its commitment to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment, Formon National High School conducted a school-wide bag inspection at 7:30 a.m. today across all classrooms.

The inspection was implemented as part of the school’s regular safety and security measures. School administrators, together with teachers, school personnel, the Barangay Captain, and Barangay Security Officers, coordinated the activity to ensure that it was carried out smoothly and with order.

During the inspection, students remained inside their respective classrooms while each bag was checked thoroughly. School officials emphasized that the process was designed to be respectful, organized, and non-disruptive to the students’ academic routine.

The initiative aims to prevent prohibited items from entering school premises and to reinforce the school’s zero-tolerance policy on safety risks. It also serves as a reminder to students about discipline, responsibility, and adherence to school rules.

After all bags were inspected, classes immediately resumed as scheduled. Teachers reported minimal disruption, and students returned to their regular activities without delay.

Formon National High School continues to work closely with the barangay and local authorities to uphold a safe, secure, and conducive environment for quality education.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | “𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭, 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞.”

EARTHQUAKE DRILL CONDUCTED AT FORMON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ON JUNE 18

Formon National High School successfully held its quarterly earthquake drill last June 18 to strengthen the preparedness and safety awareness of students, teachers, and staff during strong earthquakes.

Organized by the school’s safety team led by Mam Genelyn V. Dado, the activity followed the standard “Duck, Cover, and Hold” protocol. When the alarm sounded, everyone immediately dropped, took cover under sturdy furniture, and held on until the simulated shaking stopped. They then evacuated calmly and in an orderly manner through designated routes toward the open assembly area, keeping away from buildings, trees, and power lines.

Teachers and school staff guided everyone to prevent panic, overcrowding, and accidents. A quick headcount was conducted to ensure that all were accounted for, followed by a briefing on safety measures before, during, and after an earthquake. These included checking for injuries, avoiding damaged structures, and watching out for aftershocks.

The school principal emphasized that regular drills turn knowledge into habit, noting that while earthquakes cannot be predicted, being ready ensures that no one is caught off guard. Students also shared that the activity gave them confidence to protect themselves and their classmates.

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | Parent Orientation Highlights New School Policies and Programs

The school successfully conducted a Parent Orientation Program to inform parents about important updates and changes for the upcoming school year.

During the orientation, school officials discussed the revised grading system, school rules and regulations, and expectations for students to ensure a productive and disciplined learning environment.

Parents were also introduced to the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program, which aims to help learners improve their academic performance and strengthen foundational skills. The activity provided an opportunity for parents to better understand the school's initiatives and reinforce their partnership with educators in supporting every student's success.

“Bayanihan para sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman"

Inaanyayahan po namin ang lahat ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, magulang, 4Ps Members, Barangay Local Government Unit at komunidad na makiisa sa Brigada Eskwela 2026 ng Formon National High School mula Hunyo 1-6,2026, para sa sama-samang paghahanda ng ating paaralan bago magsimula ang panibagong taon ng pag-aaral! 💙🏫

Sa Hunyo 1, 2026, 8:00 ng umaga po ay magkakaroon ng Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off/Opening Program na gaganapin sa Senior High School Building.

Bahagi din po ng Brigada Eskwela Kick-off Program ay ang Donation Activity and Outreach Program ng mga mag-aaral mula BS Computer Engineering ng John Paul College. Sila po ay magkakaloob ng mga school supplies para sa mga mag-aaral ng Grade 7 at Grade 11 lamang na mayroong kompletong enrollment requirements tulad ng Photocopy of Birth Certificate (Local, NSO o PSA), kompletong fill-up na enrollment form at Report Card. Dahil po limitado lamang ang school supplies na ipapamahagi, mas mainam pong sundin ang "first come first serve basis".
