On 21 September 2026, at exactly 0730H, the Mindoro State University–Bongabong Campus ROTC Unit joined the university’s Flag Raising Ceremony, led by C/LTC ADRIAN M BALBOA 1CL, Brigade Corps Commander, and C/MAJ REYNIEL P TUMBAGAHAN 1CL, Brigade S3 Operation Officer, together with ROTC officers, MinSU teachers, faculty officers, and students.

The ceremony commenced with the prayer, Philippine National Anthem, MinSU Hymn, and Panatang Makabayan, all led by the Laboratory High School students. The ceremony concluded at exactly 0800H.

Following the ceremony, the ROTC officers proceeded to their respective assigned duties, with personnel deployed at the university gates to assist in maintaining security and monitoring the movement of students and other individuals entering and leaving the campus.

Other ROTC officers were assigned to the parking area, where they monitored vehicles within the premises to help maintain an organized parking area and support the safety and security of the university community.

The Flag Raising Ceremony and subsequent deployment of ROTC personnel highlighted the cadets’ continued participation in maintaining order, discipline, and security within the MinSU Bongabong Campus.

On September 20, 2026, at exactly 0708H, the Mindoro State University Bongabong Campus ROTC Unit commenced its 8th Training Week with a formation at the campus grounds, where cadets assembled before proceeding with the day’s scheduled activities.

The training was led by the Brigade Corps Commander, C/LTC Adrian M Balboa 1CL, under the supervision of Sgt. James Mark A Fajutag, ROTC Instructor, and Sir Enrique T Magalay Jr., NSTP Deputy Director of the MBC ROTC Unit, with the assistance of cadet officers, Graduate Military Assistants (GMAs), and ROTC alumni.

Demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and civic responsibility, the ROTC cadets, together with their officers, conducted a Clean-Up Drive at exactly 0748H. The activity brought together cadets from various programs, including BA Political Science, BS Entrepreneurship, BS Criminology, BSTM, BSED, and BS Fisheries (BSFi), who worked hand in hand to promote cleanliness and maintain order within the campus grounds.

At 0800H, the unit proceeded with the Midterm Examination, with cadets from different programs assigned to designated examination rooms across the campus. BSHM students were assigned to the second floor, while BSIT and BSFi students took their examinations on the first floor. The activity allowed the ROTC Unit to fulfill its academic requirements while providing cadets with an organized and conducive environment for their Midterm Examination.

At exactly 1000H, the unit conducted the introduction of the newly elected officers for the 1st and 2nd Classes for the year 2026–2027. The newly elected officers were formally presented to the cadets, followed by the introduction of the respective battalion batches.

The training week was formally concluded at exactly 1108H with a closing formation, final instructions, and announcements regarding upcoming activities. The day's activities successfully fostered environmental awareness, academic discipline, teamwork, leadership, and volunteerism among the cadets, embodying the core values of service and leadership upheld by the ROTC Unit.

BONGABONG, ORIENTAL MINDORO — Mindoro State University (MinSU) officially opened Balik MinSU 2026 through a motorcade held at 0630H on September 19, 2026, bringing together university personnel, ROTC officers, and fourth-year Criminology students in a unified celebration of the university community.

Leading the motorcade were Sgt. James A Fajutag PA (Res), Tactical NCO, and Sir Raymond Taladtad, Program Chair of CCJE, who directed the conduct and movement of the activity. The ROTC contingent operated under the supervision of C/LTC ADRIAN M BALBOA 1CL, Brigade Corps Commander, MBC ROTC, with ROTC officers and fourth-year Criminology students providing assistance in traffic management and parking operations to ensure an orderly flow throughout the event.

Supporting the conduct of the operation were C/MAJ JOHN KENNETH Y DELOS SANTOS 1CL, Brigade S1 Adjutant, and C/MAJ REYNIEL P TUMBAGAHAN 1CL , Brigade S3 Operation Officer, who took part in the coordination and ex*****on of the ROTC's assigned responsibilities.

The motorcade concluded at 0750H, formally marking the start of Balik MinSU 2026 as the university community came together in celebration, coordination, and service.

At 0630, the Simultaneous Coastal Clean-Up Drive was conducted at Barangay Aplaya, Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro, led by C/LTC ADRIAN M BALBOA 1CL, Brigade Corps Commander, together with the 1CL and 2CL cadets, under the supervision of Sir Enrique T. Magalay. The activity was conducted in coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Philippine National Police (PNP), Barangay Officials, and the Bongabong Youth and Sports Development Office.

The cadets, together with the participating agencies and Barangay Officials, actively took part in cleaning and maintaining the coastal area, demonstrating teamwork, discipline, and civic responsibility. The activity concluded exactly at 0800, highlighting the collective commitment to community service and environmental protection.

𝙊𝙣 14𝙩𝙝 September 2026, the 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙤 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙍𝙊𝙏𝘾 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩 participated in the Flag Raising Ceremony Under Supervision C/MAJ REYNIL P TUMBAGAHAN 1CL, the Brigade S3 Operation Officer,held at the university grounds.

At 0730H, the ceremony commenced with the opening prayer led by COPS Ways and Means Diane De Villa, followed by the raising of the Philippine Flag and the singing of the MinSU Hymn.

The Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas was then led by COPS Vice President for Internal Roxan Salimo, followed by the Panunumpa sa Bagong Pilipinas, led by Jobert Labay of the Socio and Cultural Committee.

The Flag Raising Ceremony formally concluded at 0800H, marking the start of another week of academic and organizational activities at Mindoro State University.
