During the Youth Volunteer Formation Course on August 2โ3, 2025, Blessed Trinity College students performed proper CPR techniques under the guidance of RCY Bohol President John Andrew Aton and Vice-President for Internal Relations Mark Adriane Amba. The hands-on session equipped them with vital life-saving skills for real emergencies, strengthening their readiness to respond in times of accidents or disasters.

August 9-10, 2025 โ Blessed Trinity College welcomed young leaders and aspiring humanitarian workers for the Youth Volunteer Formation Course (YVFC), a two-day training spearheaded by the Red Cross Youth (RCY) โ Bohol Chapter.
The program was facilitated by RCY Bohol President John Andrew Aton and Vice-President for Internal Relations Mark Adriane Amba, who served as lead instructors. Designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and values essential for volunteerism, the course covered the principles of the Red Cross Movement, disaster preparedness, basic first aid, and leadership in community service.
Throughout the two-day session, participants engaged in lectures, group discussions, and hands-on activities, fostering teamwork and empathy. The YVFC aims to prepare young individuals not only to respond effectively in times of emergencies but also to become proactive advocates for humanitarian causes in their communities.
BTCโs hosting of the YVFC reflects the institutionโs commitment to developing socially responsible students who embody the spirit of service and compassion.

Blessed Trinity College, August 5, 2025 โ The Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Scouts of Blessed Trinity College taught students important safety and first aid skills as part of the local wisdom mapping activity. This activity aims to collect and preserve traditional safety practices from the community while combining them with modern methods, ensuring valuable knowledge is passed on to the next generation.
During the training, DRR Scouts demonstrated proper bandaging and safe ways to carry and move injured people. These lessons equip students with practical life-saving skills, promote teamwork, and strengthen the schoolโs preparedness in responding to accidents and disasters.

Blessed Trinity College โ On August 1, 2025, the school administration, faculty members, and the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Team gathered for a stakeholder meeting to prepare for the Balik-Kaalaman: Revitalizing Local Wisdom for Disaster-Resilient Schools and Communities project.
The discussion centered on the projectโs objectives, including documenting traditional disaster preparedness practices, integrating local wisdom into classroom instruction, and updating the School DRRM Plan to incorporate culturally rooted strategies. The team also reviewed the timeline of activities and assigned roles to ensure smooth implementation.
Through this initiative, BTC seeks to blend heritage-based survival knowledge with modern DRR approaches, fostering a disaster-ready school environment while preserving valuable cultural practices.
