2. MIS Office
Proceed to the MIS Office for your BISUOne account credentials and initial enrollment assistance.

3. University Clinic
Proceed to the University Clinic and submit the required medical and enrollment documents.

4.Guidance Office

The College of Sciences successfully concluded its 2nd Student Research Congress 2026, a meaningful gathering that celebrated inquiry, innovation, and academic excellence among student researchers. Anchored on the theme, “𝘚𝘺𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘌𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: 𝘈𝘥𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘌𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘚𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘛𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘢 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦,” the congress highlighted the important role of interdisciplinary research in responding to environmental and technological challenges.

Through this congress, future Environmental Scientists and Computer Scientists were given a platform to present their studies, exchange insights, and showcase innovations relevant to real-world needs.

From biodiversity and conservation studies to artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, the event reflected the creativity, dedication, and passion of student researchers who continue to contribute to a more sustainable and technologically progressive future.

The re-ranking phase for the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (BSES) program of the College of Sciences, BISU Candijay Campus has been extended and will be conducted from April 20 to April 23, 2026.

Applicants who wish to apply for re-ranking are advised to prepare the following requirements:

𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙤 𝙬𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜?

The activity Enhancing Assessment Quality Through Test Item Analysis and NeoGrade Application was successfully conducted on January 22, 2026, at the College of Sciences Office, Bohol Island State University–Candijay Campus, Cogtong, Candijay, Bohol. The program reinforced the importance of balanced, ethical, and data-driven assessment practices in higher education, strengthening faculty assessment literacy and promoting evidence-based evaluation of student learning.

The program formally opened with a welcome address from the Dean of the College of Sciences, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗔. 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁, 𝗠𝗦𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗘, followed by the Statement of Purpose delivered by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗥. 𝗨𝗯𝗮, 𝗠𝗠𝗠-𝗠𝗥𝗠, Chairperson of the BSES Program, which set the direction and objectives of the activity.

The first session, 𝘍𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘛𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘐𝘵𝘦𝘮 𝘈𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘴, was co-facilitated by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗕. 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮, 𝗠𝗔𝗘𝗱, Chairperson of BSED Program and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵𝘂𝗮 𝗚. 𝗥𝗼𝗷𝗼, 𝗠𝗔𝗘𝗱, faculty of CTE. 𝗠𝗿. 𝗘𝗽𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗡𝗶ñ𝗼 𝗢. 𝗔𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮, 𝗠𝗜𝗧, conducted a hands-on lecture and guided demonstration on the 𝘕𝘦𝘰𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘈𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. The session introduced faculty to an AI-powered grading tool designed to support the assessment of handwritten and online examinations, including item analysis and rubric-based evaluation. The activity involved faculty members of the College of Sciences, who demonstrated professionalism, discipline, and a growing mastery of assessment tools through guided, hands-on assessment analysis activities.

The program concluded with the awarding of certificates to the resource speakers and a synthesis and closing remarks delivered by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗡. 𝗢𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗮, Chairperson of the BSCS Program, where she emphasized the role of sound assessment practices in ensuring quality, fairness, and integrity in academic evaluation.

Through initiatives such as this, the College of Sciences continues to uphold stringent, fair, and evidence-based assessment practices in higher education.

The 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 & 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 was successfully conducted on December 4 and December 11, 2025, at the Learning Resource Center, BISU Candijay in collaboration with LGU-Candijay.

This two-day capacity-building initiative convened barangay secretaries and LGU personnel in focused discussions and hands-on activities on Data Privacy Act compliance, barangay-level carbon footprint assessment, and household data encoding for carbon footprint profiling.

The program was formally opened by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗡. 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗻, 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘴 𝘌𝘹𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳, who emphasized the role of extension services in strengthening academic–community partnerships. The Statement of Purpose was delivered by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐠-𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬 of the 𝘓𝘋𝘙𝘙𝘔𝘖, 𝘓𝘎𝘜 𝘊𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘫𝘢𝘺, highlighting the value of data-driven approaches in climate-responsive and disaster risk reduction planning. While the key learning sessions were facilitated by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐀𝐥𝐦𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐁. 𝐀𝐮𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐋. 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥, and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐍𝐢ñ𝐨 𝐎. 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚, 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘺, covering data protection, carbon footprint fundamentals, and practical data encoding applications.

As climate risks intensify, initiatives like this reinforce the need for responsible information management to build climate-ready barangays.

The College of Sciences proudly congratulates 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥, Environmental Science Faculty, for her exemplary presentation and for bagging the 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 under the 𝘔𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘊𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘰𝘳𝘺 for her pitched innovation “𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗽: 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻, 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗽, 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗻.” This achievement was recognized during the event “𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵: 𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗨 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁,” held on 14 November 2025 at Alta Bohol Resort and Convention Center, Baclayon, Bohol, Philippines.

Her work stands as a testament to her commitment to advance in environmental innovation and develop sustainable solutions that promote economic productivity while addressing improper waste disposal in the community.

Teachers and staff of Cogtong Elementary School, Cogtong, Candijay, Bohol actively participated in today’s training session led by our resource person, Sir Epifelward Niño O. Amora (Ninyoh Amora).

The activity was collaboratively organized by the College of Science – BISU Candijay and the Computer Science Department, with support from our BSCS faculty and selected students.

This hands-on training marks a significant step forward in strengthening school safety, digital attendance automation, and data-driven operations through the Tap-ID system! 🔐💡
