Malipayon kita nga ang Probinsya sa Bohol usa sa may pinakaubos nga porsento sa struggling readers sa tanang schools division sa tibuok nasod.

Ang Department of Education (DepEd) Bohol Division aduna’y third-lowest percentage of struggling readers, at 25.46%; ug pinakaubos sa tibuok Region VII. Kini base sa Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment sa School Year 2025-2026 nga gi-release sa EDCOM.

Ang pagpalambo sa edukasyon usa ka haligi sa atong Strategic Governance Roadmap. Mao nga sukad sa pagsugod sa atong administrasyon niadtong tuig 2022, atong gihingusgan ang tahas sa Provincial School Board (PSB) ug ang paggamit sa atong Special Education Fund (SEF) nga responsive sa panginahanglanon sa DepEd Bohol.

Bisan pa man niini nga maayong balita, aduna pay daghang angay buhaton aron mas maminosan pa gyud ang problema sa struggling readers sa atong probinsya.

We proudly celebrate Lebron Reign De Guzman for winning 1st Place in the Mutya sa Bohol Filipiniana Gown & Barong Painting Contest held at Island City Mall last February 22, 2026.

Inspired by Asin Tibuok, Bohol’s iconic handcrafted sea salt, Lebron’s artwork beautifully reflected our province’s culture, resilience, and creativity.

Your talent truly brings pride and honor to our school community! 💙✨

As part of National Arts Month, the Mutya sa Bohol Filipiniana Gown & Barong Painting Contest was held at the Island City Mall Activity Center on February 22, 2026.

Presented by the Provincial Government of Bohol through the Center for Culture and Arts Development and the Bohol Arts and Cultural Heritage Council (BACH), in partnership with Island City Mall, the event highlighted Asin Tibuok—Bohol’s iconic handcrafted sea salt, a symbol of community resilience.

Five gowns and five barongs served as canvases for artists to honor Bohol’s heritage and showcase the province’s vibrant artistic spirit. Winners declared were Lebron Reign de Guzman (1st), Milana Kuzmicheva (2nd), and Maria Ellaine Reomales (3rd).

Organized by BACH’s Visual Arts Committee, the contest followed weeks of workshops designed to nurture emerging talent and creative expression.

As a UNESCO Global Geopark province, Bohol continues to reaffirm its commitment to preserving and promoting local culture, as envisioned under Gov. Aris Aumentado’s Strategic Governance Roadmap.
