The spirit of service and volunteerism filled the hearts of the community as the Supreme Student Government (SSG), spearheaded by Atty. Norman L. Torregosa, SSG adviser, successfully held the "Tabang ta BISUan" Extension Service today, June 5, 2026.

The "𝙏𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙖 𝘽𝙄𝙎𝙐𝙖𝙣" 𝙀𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 2026 is a community outreach initiative of the Supreme Student Government (SSG) of Bohol Island State University Clarin Campus. This activity aims to provide assistance to less fortunate families in selected barangays of Clarin, Bohol, through the distribution of grocery items and basic necessities collected from the implementation of Senate Resolution No. 6, Series of 2025-2026. The activity strengthens the partnership between the university and the local community by extending meaningful public service and assistance to families in need.

The distribution of goods started early this morning in Poblacion Norte, proceeded to Isla Verde and Bonbon, and lastly concluded in Poblacion Centro, Clarin, Bohol. The goods were classified according to the different coupons distributed on June 2-3, 2026, alongside a house-to-house visit and survey conducted to ensure that the goods would be distributed to the least privileged.

Tay Luciano, one of the program's beneficiaries, shared his deep gratitude for the initiative: "𝙊𝙠 𝙠𝙖𝙖𝙮𝙪, 𝙙𝙖𝙠𝙤 𝙠𝙖𝙖𝙮𝙪 𝙖𝙠𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙄𝙎𝙐 𝙆𝙖𝙮 𝙞𝙨𝙖 𝙢𝙞 𝙨𝙖 𝙣𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣."

The BISU-Clarin Supreme Student Government (SSG) Officers conducted their partial inventory of goods today, May 15, 2026, collected from the recent implementation of Senate Resolution No. 6, Series of 2025-2026.

Under the "𝙏𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙖 𝘽𝙄𝙎𝙐𝘼𝙉𝙎" extension program, these collected items—initially sanctioned for flag ceremony absences—are now being prepared for distribution. This initiative ensures that these contributions reach their meaningful end goal, which is supporting less fortunate families in the town of Clarin.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | The BSES Department, including faculty, students, and FCRMP officers, gathered to celebrate and honor the BSES-CRM graduating students, Class of 2025-2026, on May 14, 2026, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Student Activity Center, BISU-Clarin Campus.

The graduating class of Bohol Island State University - Clarin Campus gathered at the campus seawall and surrounding grounds today, May 14, 2026, for a joint tree and mangrove planting initiative. Serving as one of the major pre-graduation activity, the event allowed the seniors to leave a living, environmental legacy for their alma mater.

The activity aimed to restore the local coastline, combat soil erosion, and promote a greener, healthier campus environment. Braving the heat and muddy shores, the students worked shoulder to shoulder to plant seedlings and mangrove propagules, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and civic responsibility.

It was a magical night filled with dazzling, shimmering, vibrant colors that shone in unison as Batch 2026, wearing elegant dresses, performed the most highlighted part of the event: Cotillon de Honor.

It began as a simple dance—gentle glances and graceful movements as they twirled and switched partners together. Afterwards, the graduating class danced to TikTok trends like "Hawak Mo ang Beat" and "Bayle", making the event even more enjoyable.

Ms. Angelica Suello, President of the Graduating Class Officers, shared her farewell message. She extended her best regards and gratitude to the students and teachers who made the event a success and helped shape them into better versions of themselves.

While the graduating class lined up for dinner, a duet performance was presented by students, offering a calm and pleasing serenade that resonated through the Student Activity Center. The atmosphere turned lovely as students enjoyed their meal while listening to the music.

Subsequently, Mr. Alvin T. Remolado gave a toast of gratitude, highlighting the strengths and purposes of every program. “𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙮,” he added.

Following the toast, inspirational messages from distinguished faculty members were delivered. Mr. Jonathan C. Neri, an honorable faculty member from BISU Calape, spoke about the challenges of being a student leader—the struggles, deadlines, and responsibilities—resonating with students who are leaders themselves.

Mr. Rey Anthony G. Godmalin, College Dean of Science and Management, conveyed his address, encouraging everyone to take a moment to appreciate how far they’ve come and the people who have supported them throughout their journey.

Following this, Dr. Richard S. Mula expressed his message, drawing from a Christian phrase: “𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 99 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 1 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙮.”

Afterward, the graduating class sang their tribute song, “Saranggola,” to commemorate the milestones and journeys they achieved during their academic path on campus.

The students then presented flowers to their dear instructors as a thank-you gift for guiding and shaping them into who they are today.
