A Triumph of Knowledge and Pride! Cagting High School Soars at the Sandugo GeoQuiz Bee 2025.

This past August 28th, the province's top Junior High School learners gathered at the Bohol Cultural Center for the prestigious Sandugo GeoQuiz Bee, an event spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Bohol through the office of the Education Development Council (EDC) in partnership with SDO Bohol, and SMART Communications.

The challenge was immense: a deep dive into Bohol's history, culture and heritage, general information, tourism, and current events and Bohol Island Geopark and geological information about Bohol. With 120 exceptional participants, the competition was the definition of stiff.

Yet, with poise and brilliance, Carmel S. Jamora, a Grade 10 Loyalty learner, claimed the FIRST PLACE title for Cagting High School! This extraordinary feat was guided by the dedicated mentorship of her coach, Ma'am Daryl Lagumbay.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to our Schooli-n-Charge, ma'am Rochel G. Mercado, EdD for her unwavering leadership. Her undying love for the students and her constant guidance remind us all of our primary goal: to nurture excellence in every learner. This victory is a reflection of the supportive and goal-oriented environment she fosters for our entire school community.

At Cagting High School, we don't just teach facts; we foster a deep love for learning and empower our students to achieve greatness. This victory is a shining example of that mission in action. We are immensely proud of Carmel S. Jamora, a grade 10 Loyalty learner and Ma'am Daryl Lagumbay for showcasing the excellence we strive for every day.
