Congratulations to the incumbent Child Development Teachers (CDT) of Candijay, Bohol for successfully passing the National Competency Assessment Level 3 in Early Childhood Care & Development Services (ECCDS) under the Competency Assessment and Certification for Workers (CACW) Program of TESDA.

The CACW is a TESDA program that allows experienced industry workers to earn a National Certificate (NC) for free without needing to undergo formal training.

The CDTs who are college graduates took the said assessment to ensure that they meet the national standards for teaching and caring for the young children in their respective child development centers.
This initiative was also made possible with the full support of the LGU- Candijay headed by their municipal mayor Hon. Thamar C. Olaivar and municipality's MSWDO, mam FLEN D. MAQUILING.

CONGRATULATIONS, CDTs and God Bless you on this noblest profession you are undertaking!!

MABUHAY!!!
The Housekeeping trainees who are PESFA congressional scholars of CONG. ALEXIE B. TUTOR had an educational trip to selected resorts in Anda, Bohol to enhance learning through hands-on, practical exposure.
An ocular inspection was conducted including a tour within the resorts' housekeeping areas like various room accommodation, laundry, and linen facilities. A demonstration and short lecture were also given regaring basic laundry operation and procedures using the resort's laundry equipment and facility. For a more engaging experiential learning, trainees were asked to do an actual demonstration in bed making as well as actual room make-up services with the supervision of the housekeeping supervisors.

A grateful thanks to our long time industry partner, Parklane Bohol Resort and Spa, with their HR Officer mam Cheryl Ann Caburan along with the housekeeping supervisor and general manager, Anda Pearl Premiere Resort HR Officer, mam Sheila Mae Ajeno, and Bugnaw Si-E HR Officer mam Susan Tulod. Your extended effort in imparting to the trainees the necessary skills directly in the workplace made the visit more meaningful and educational! Serving as learning hubs for the trainees in the tourism and hospitality industry bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world practice, hence, a truly genuine commitment!
