Celebrating the Feast Day of St. Louise de Marillac: A Legacy of Faith and Service

On May 9, 2026, the community of St. Louise de Marillac College of Bogo, Inc. joyfully celebrated the Feast Day of St. Louise de Marillac with hearts filled with faith, gratitude, and service. The celebration officially began with a Holy Mass presided over by Father Glenn Gabunilas, reminding everyone of the importance of living a life rooted in compassion, humility, and love for others. Following the Mass was a short catechism about the life and inspiring mission of St. Louise de Marillac. The guests were given the opportunity to reflect on her dedication to serving the poor and nurturing faith within the community. Her life continues to inspire everyone to become instruments of charity and kindness in today’s world. To further embody the spirit of service and generosity, a Thrift Store activity was conducted with the participation of some residents from Purok Agokoy, Barangay Sambag, Bogo City, Cebu. The event became a meaningful way of sharing blessings and strengthening community ties, making this year’s Feast Day celebration truly memorable and Christ-centered.

and the promise of new beginnings.

Leading the Way: SLMCB elects new LSC Officers for S.Y. 2026–2027

St. Louise de Marillac College of Bogo, Cebu, Inc. (SLMCB) officially presents its newly elected Louisean Student Council officers following the March 20, 2026 online elections.
As they prepare to assume office next school year, the Louisean community extends its congratulations to this new set of leaders who were entrusted to uphold integrity, accountability, and genuine service for the student body.

In this special moment of grace, we thank God for the gift of your vocation and for your faithful witness to a life dedicated to service, humility, and charity. Like the Blessed Virgin Mary who entrusted herself completely to God’s will, you continue to respond with generosity and courage to the mission entrusted to you.

May this renewal strengthen your hearts, deepen your joy in serving, and fill you with new grace as you continue your ministry in the Church and in the Vincentian family, especially for those who are poor and in need.
