𝐕𝐈𝐕𝐀 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐘!

Today, November 24, we joyfully celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe — a powerful reminder of His eternal reign of love, mercy, and justice over all creation.

This feast calls us to honor Christ as our King and to embrace His mission of service, humility, and peace in our daily lives. Let us proclaim His sovereignty with hearts full of faith and gratitude.

MARK 8:27-35

This week's gospel from Mark 8:27-35 brings us Jesus' profound call to the crowd: 'If anyone wishes to follow me, they must deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow me. Those who want to save their life will lose it, but those who lose their life for my sake and the gospel will save it.'

As we reflect on this, let us embrace the lessons of sacrifice and selflessness. To truly follow Him, we must learn to deny ourselves and offer our lives fully to the Lord.

𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝗔 𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗙 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗨𝗧𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗡
𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝟳:𝟯𝟭-𝟯𝟳

In this week’s Gospel, we see the compassionate heart of Jesus as He heals a man who could neither hear nor speak. With a simple touch and the word “Ephphatha”—meaning “Be opened!”—He restores the man’s abilities, transforming his life. This powerful moment reminds us of the transformative love and grace of God.

As we reflect on this miraculous event, let us allow Jesus to open the ears of our hearts and loosen the tongues of our spirits, so we may proclaim His goodness to the world.

𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗩𝗜𝗥𝗚𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬
𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘀—derived from the Latin word for "earth," represents humility, the very foundation of our Blessed Mother’s life. Just as the earth quietly nurtures life, so did Mary embrace her role with silent strength and grace. Her humble "yes" to God gave rise to the Savior of the world, reminding us that true greatness is found in humility and submission to God's will.

Today, as we celebrate the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗹𝗹, we are called to reflect on her "humilitas" and let it guide our own hearts.

𝗧𝗼𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝘂𝘂𝘀 𝗲𝗴𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗺, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮! 💙🌹
