On this day in 2015, Republic Act 10687 or the “Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) Act” was signed into law to ensure that Filipinos are given equitable access to educational opportunities through government programs for Scholarships, Grants-in-Aid, and Student Loans for Tertiary Education.
