The deployment of Field Study (FS) students officially commenced on August 25, 2026 and August 26, 2026, at the ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐“๐ž๐š๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐‚๐“๐„๐) ๐‹๐š๐›๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐’๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ, marking the beginning of their field study experience as pre-service teachers.
The first batch of deployed pre-service teachers comprised selected students from the ๐๐š๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐“๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‹๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐๐“๐‹๐„๐) and ๐๐š๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐’๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ง๐๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐๐’๐„๐) programs, with majors in ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž, ๐Œ๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ข๐ž๐ฌ.

The second batch of Field Study (FS) students also commenced their deployment at the ๐‚๐“๐„๐ ๐‹๐š๐›๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐’๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ, composed of pre-service teachers from the ๐๐š๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‚๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐€๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐๐‚๐€๐„๐), ๐๐š๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐“๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ๐‹๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐๐“๐‹๐„๐), and ๐๐š๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐’๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ง๐๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐๐’๐„๐)programs, particularly those majoring in ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž, ๐Œ๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ข๐ž๐ฌ.

The field study students underwent the necessary deployment orientation and was introduced to their respective resource teachers, classroom assignments, schedules, and field study responsibilities. They were reminded to demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, commitment, and respect for the policies and expectations of the laboratory school throughout their deployment.

Prior to the deployment, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐…๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ž ๐Œ. ๐‘๐จ๐๐ข๐ฅ, Experiential Learning Course (ELC) Supervisor, led the deployment briefing. He reminded the Field Study (FS) studentโ€™s teachers to uphold professionalism, observe punctuality, and strictly adhere to the schoolโ€™s rules, policies, and expectations throughout their field study.
Following the briefing, the Field Study (FS) students proceeded to the office of ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐๐จ๐ž๐ฅ ๐‘. ๐๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ, Principal of the CTEd Laboratory School. He warmly welcomed the students and introduced them to their respective resource teachers. He also discussed their schedules, classroom assignments, and the tasks and responsibilities they are expected to undertake during their deployment.

The second day of the Pre-Development Seminar for Field Study began with a short recall activity to review the important lessons and insights discussed on the previous day. Volunteer students from the ๐๐š๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐’๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ง๐๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐๐’๐„๐) ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐š๐ฃ๐จ๐ซ ๐ข๐ง ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž, ๐Œ๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ข๐ž๐ฌ, as well as students from ๐๐š๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‚๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐€๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐๐‚๐€๐„๐) program actively shared their knowledge and reflections from the previous discussion. This activity helped refresh their understanding and prepared them for the upcoming topics.

๐— ๐—ฟ. ๐—๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ต๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—น ๐— . ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜€, ๐— ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ง๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—œ from MNHS, discussed the three-term DepEd school calendar, and introduced the ILAW framework for lesson planning. His discussion provided the students with a better understanding of how lessons can be properly organized and delivered in the classroom.

The seminar continued with a session on effective communication and English language enhancement, led by ๐——๐—ฟ. ๐—ฆ๐˜‚๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—•. ๐—ฃ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ, Dean of the College of Teacher Education. She emphasized the clear and proper communication in the school community while ๐— ๐—ฟ. ๐—ก๐—ผ๐—ฒ๐—น ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€ IHS principal discussed the important concepts and processes involved in Classroom-Based Action Research (CBAR). Throughout the discussion, he highlights the classroom concerns and the use of research to address the problem and have better learning practices.

After the seminar, all participants received certificates as a token of appreciation for their active participation and completion of the pre-deployment sessions.

Overall, the two-day Pre-Development Seminar provided the Field Study students with valuable knowledge, practical ideas, and important reminders as they prepare for their upcoming deployment. The sessions strengthened their understanding of lesson planning, communication, classroom research, and the responsibilities of a future teacher.

The program opened with a prayer, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the College of Education Hymn. To energize the Field study students , a roll call was done and each Education major presented the yell they prepared.

Before the formal discussions, an inspirational messages was delivered by ๐——๐—ฟ. ๐—ฆ๐˜‚๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—ฃ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ , Dean of the College of Education and ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐—ก๐—ผ๐—ฒ๐—น ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€, College of Teacher Education, Laboratory School Principal .

Afternoon sessions covered important information on Work Ethics by ๐—”๐˜€๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ฐ. ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ณ. ๐—š๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ผ ๐—˜. ๐—จ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฎ and on Mental Health Awareness by ๐—”๐˜€๐˜€๐˜. ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ณ. ๐—˜๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฎ ๐—ฅ. ๐—ฅ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜€, the guidance Counselor.

The program was organised by the Field Study officers under the guidance of ๐——๐—ฟ. ๐—™๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ฒ ๐—ฅ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—น, ELC (Experiential Learning Course) Supervisor.

The Pre-deployment seminar emphasized the importance of active involvement and optimal utilization of the students as preparation for their Field Study.

With hearts full of gratitude and hope, the Secondary Pre-Service Teachers held their Thanksgiving Mass last January 4, 2026, at Boac Cathedral โ€“ Immaculate Conception Parish, presided over by Rev. Fr. Ian Retardo. This was followed by the Elementary Pre-Service Teachersโ€™ Thanksgiving Mass on January 6, 2026, at Holy Cross Parish, led by Rev. Fr. Martin Puertollano Jr.

The celebrations were attended by the CoEd Faculty and Pre-Service Teachers, emphasizing the reminder that โ€œyou cannot give what you do not haveโ€โ€”a call to preparation, dedication, and commitment to the teaching vocation.

This gathering marks the 16th Pre-Service Teachersโ€™ Investiture 2026 โ€“ Part 1: Thanksgiving Mass, a meaningful milestone in the journey of our future educators.
