[REPOST] ATTENTION MARSU NSTP ENROLLEES (AY 2026-2027)
Please be guided by the following important updates regarding your NSTP (ROTC and CWTS) Training for the First Semester based on Advisory No. 001 series 2026!
URGENT: HEALTH ASSESSMENT FOR PRE-REGISTERED CWTS STUDENTS
Pre-registered CWTS students must undergo a physical health assessment at the CAHS Skills Laboratory, Emergency Room, and Health Services Office. Failure to attend will result in forfeiture of your pre-registration.
Schedule are as follows:
1. COED, CASS, CBA: August 05, 2026 (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
2. CENG, CES, CGOV: August 06, 2026 (7:30 AM - 11:30 AM)
3. CAHS, CIT, CICS: August 06, 2026 (12:30 PM - 4:30 PM)
(Note: Please bring a Medical Certification from a licensed physician if you have medical conditions that restrict you from strenuous activities).
FIRST DAY OF TRAINING SCHEDULE
CWTS: August 08, 2026 (Saturday)
ROTC: August 09, 2026 (Sunday)
REQUIRED ATTIRE & GROOMING
CWTS: T-shirt following your College Colors + Maong/Slacks pants.
ROTC: White T-shirt + Maong/Slacks pants.
Note: Proper grooming is required. Proper haircuts for males, fixed hair for females. No striking hair colors allowed.
DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS
Please submit the following on your First Training Day:
1. Medical Certificate
2. Insurance: Photocopy of Insurance ID or Certificate of Coverage. (Don't have one yet? An insurance provider will be available on campus during the first training day).
3. Certificate of Registration (COR): Must be originally signed.
4. Notarized Parent's Consent: (Template to follow).
(If you already submitted these to the ROTC/CWTS offices, no need to resubmit).
OTHER IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
A. CWTS Limit: Only 600 students will be accepted in the CWTS course at the MarSU Main Campus.
B. Attendance Policy: Three (3) consecutive absences will result in an automatic DROP from the course.
C. Sunday Religious Duties: Students with Sunday religious obligations (worship leaders, acolytes, etc.) are prioritized for CWTS. Please submit a recommendation letter signed by your pastor or priest.
D. SK Officials: May apply for exemption subject to compliance with RA 11768 and CHED-NYC JMC No. 01, s. 2025.
