ADVISORY

Per DepEd advisory dated September 12, 2024, the Bureau of Human Resource and Organizational Development-Employee Welfare Division (BHROD-EWD) is currently conducting an online survey to assess the preferences of DepEd employees in availing of medical services and to gather baseline data on HMO and other health insurance needs. This is in line with the Executive Order No. 64 s. 2024, where all government personnel, including public school teachers, are eligible to receive an annual medical allowance of Php 7,000 beginning 2025.

While awaiting guidelines from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), the Department intends to gather data on the preferences and opinions of employees in the utilization and distribution of said allowance. As such, all permanent/regular/plantilla employees of DepEd who have not yet accomplished the survey are highly encouraged to do so. This includes employees of any rank, gender, age, ethnicity, and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
