The Mathematics Department successfully convened for its first School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) session for the 2026-2027 school year, marking a productive start to our professional development initiatives.

During the session, Ma’am Rochelle DG. Zarate, Teacher VI, provided a comprehensive overview of the upcoming MTAP Saturday Classes, offering valuable insights to enhance our student support programs. Furthermore, Engr. Jojo Jose G. Rosario, MT II- OIC of the Mathematics Department, led an essential discussion regarding the Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment and Grading System, ensuring our entire department is well-aligned with the latest standards.

This session underscores our collective commitment to academic excellence and continuous growth as we prepare to serve our learners throughout the new academic year.

The Mathematics Department of Binmaley School of Fisheries has officially and successfully concluded its Performance Management and Evaluation System (PMES) cycle. This milestone reflects the team's shared dedication to instructional precision, professional growth, and delivering high-quality education to our learners.

Deepest thanks go to Engr. Jojo Jose G. Rosario, Master Teacher II, OIC-Math Department for his strategic guidance and leadership throughout this evaluation, and to Dr. Teody M. Delos Santos, School Principal IV, for his continuous administrative support.

✨Assessing Progress, Strengthening Numeracy

Numeracy Assessment Post-Test
March 24, 2026 | Held at Binmaley School of Fisheries

Continuing to build strong foundations in numeracy. Enhancing learners’ problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and confidence in Mathematics. 📚✨

The assessment was conducted among Grade 7 learners and administered by the Mathematics teachers of Binmaley School of Fisheries. It was monitored by Sir Nick V. Mendoza, Principal IV of Camaley National High School, with the leadership of Dr. Teody M. Delos Santos, Principal IV, Engr. Rockny Ismael G. Nicolas, Assistant Principal II, Engr. Jojo Jose G. Rosario, Master Teacher II-OIC, Mathematics Department, and Ma'am Rochelle D. Zarate, Teacher III, Numeracy Coordinator, of Binmaley School of Fisheries.

This initiative serves as an important step in monitoring learners’ progress and identifying areas for growth, ensuring that every student is supported in developing essential skills for real-life applications and future academic success.

The Division Numeracy Assessment aims to evaluate learners’ mathematical understanding, track their development, and guide educators in implementing targeted interventions to further improve numeracy outcomes.
