The โ€œCESO on Wheels: ByaHEROโ€ community program, held on May 24, 2024, was a meaningful outreach initiative spearheaded by the College of Arts and Sciences through the Community Extension Services Office (CESO). Heroes in Every Drop: Bloodletting Activity Year 6.2

The WCC ATC Community Extension and Services Office, in partnership with the Philippine Red Crossโ€“Urdaneta Chapter, WCC ATC Medical Team, and the WCC ATC ROTC Unit, joyfully held the two-day Bloodletting Activity Year 6.2 last November 19 and 25, 2025. With a united spirit of compassion and community care, volunteers came forward with open hearts and willing hands to take part in this life-saving mission. Over the course of two meaningful days, we are pleased and extremely grateful to have successfully collected 585 blood units, a remarkable milestone that reflects the unwavering generosity and bravery of everyone involved.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our WCC ATC Employees, Students, and visiting donors, whose selflessness embodies true heroism. Your willingness to give not just time, but a part of yourselves, is an act that may save countless lives. You are the heartbeat of this initiative, proof that ordinary people can make extraordinary change. Together, we continue to prove that every drop counts and every donor is a hero.

From Seedlings to Sustainability: Building a Better Environment Together

On October 27, 2025, Brgy. Dumayat in Binalonan, Pangasinan, held a Tree Planting Activity organized by the Community Extension and Services Office in partnership with the Binalonan LGUโ€“Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office. A total of 100 fruit-bearing trees were planted to promote a greener and healthier community. The activity was made possible through the support of WCC ATC faculty, administrative staff, and volunteer students, including ROTC Cadets, demonstrating how teamwork can make a positive and lasting impact on both the environment and the community.

SDG Education in Action: Guiding the Next Generation Toward Change

Last November 7, 2025, the Community Extension and Services Office conducted a Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Campaign at Casantiagoan Elementary School in Sta. Catalina, Binalonan, Pangasinan. The activity aimed to introduce young learners to the importance of global sustainability through engaging discussions and simple, age-appropriate examples.
The event also highlighted the various SDG practices implemented by WCC Aeronautical and Technological College Inc.โ€“Binalonan Campus, showcasing real-life applications of environmental care, waste management, and responsible community actions. Supported by the Unified Council of Aviators, QATO, and the College of AMT, the campaign successfully strengthened awareness and inspired elementary students to take small but meaningful steps toward a more sustainable future.
