The More You Know, the better.. πŸ«‚

TMYK is an awareness campaign by the DLSU SHSSC dedicated to giving students a platform for voicing social issues that need to be addressed within the community. ❀

Through TMYK, you can share the issues you believe your peers should be more informed about. These may cover political, legislative, economic, or other relevant concerns. πŸ’‘

NEVER FORGET THE HISTORY WE CARRIED. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡

On this day, we remember the declaration of Martial Law in 1972 and the years that followed.

For many Filipinos, this was not simply a chapter in a textbook. It was lived experience: stories of loss, struggle, courage, and the fight to reclaim freedom and democracy.

Today, we carry these stories forward.

As the student body, may we continue to learn from our history, listen to those who experienced it, and understand why human rights, freedom, and democracy must be valued and protected.

We remember because history matters.

SU***DE PREVENTION DAY

β€œπ’€π’π’–π’“ π’”π’•π’π’“π’š π’Šπ’”π’β€™π’• 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 π’šπ’†π’•.” - 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒋𝒆𝒄𝒕 π‘Ίπ’†π’Žπ’Šπ’„π’π’π’π’

This World Su***de Prevention Day, we are reminded that no student should have to bear their struggles alone. Academic pressure, personal challenges, and life’s uncertainties affect us all, but support begins with a willingness to listen.

Guided by our Lasallian values of Faith, Service, and Communion in Mission, we are called to recognize the dignity of every individual and build a compassionate community where reaching out is never seen as an inconvenience.

If you are struggling, please know that you do not have to navigate this by yourself. Connect with a friend, trusted family member, teacher, or counselor. If someone reaches out to you, listen without judgment and guide them toward the support they need.

Prevention begins with connection. Hope begins when we choose to listen.πŸ’š
