In this reflective season, the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) Department continues to recognize the achievements of our students as part of this week’s KaBEEda Recognition Series.

We acknowledge Ms. Althea Mae Sanoy, a 2nd year BEEd student, for her accomplishments and contributions.

On March 8, 2026, at the Manila Grand Opera Hotel, she, together with her team, was hailed Champion in Radio Broadcasting during the 4th National Campus Journalism Convention 2026, where she served as the news anchor.

She also contributed to the School's extension initiatives as one of the voice-over artists in presentation materials submitted for competitions. In addition, she served as the moderator during the School of Teacher Education Send-Off Program on March 14, 2026, held for our BLEPT takers who took the examination on March 15, 2026.

This post is part of our ongoing (belated) recognition of student accomplishments and contributions.

May this season also remind us to continue growing, serving, and striving in our own quiet ways.

The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) 3rd Year students successfully presented their concept papers, marking a significant milestone in their academic and research journey. The activity showcased their dedication to inquiry, critical thinking, and the application of educational research principles.

The presentations were evaluated by a distinguished panel composed of Dr. Robert P. Jordan, Chairperson of the BECEd and BSNEd Department and SPEC-RES Course Instructor; Mrs. Kayla O. Mercader and Ms. Jenny Genoguin, core faculty members of the BECEd Department; Mrs. Fhebee S. Barrina, core faculty member of the BSNEd Department; and Ms. Miramar M. Serrion, core faculty member of the BEEd Department.

The panelists provided valuable insights and constructive feedback, guiding the students in refining their research work and strengthening their academic competence.

As they move forward, our dear KaBEEda are now preparing for the Research Proposal Defense scheduled on the second week of April 2026, another important step toward the completion of their research endeavors.

📸 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑱𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚 | 𝑾𝒆𝒆𝒌𝒔 5–8 (𝑭𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒖𝒂𝒓𝒚–𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉 2026)

As the weeks progressed, our BEEd 4th Year – KaBEEda reached a meaningful phase in their Student Teaching journey, covering Weeks 5 to 8, a period marked by consistency, growth, and deeper immersion in the teaching profession.

During these weeks, routines became more established, confidence became more evident, and classroom practices became more refined. From lesson planning and assessment to classroom management and learner engagement, our student teachers demonstrated improved competence and independence in handling their responsibilities.

Beyond daily instruction, they continued to participate in school activities, collaborate with cooperating teachers, and respond to the dynamic needs of their learners. Each challenge encountered became an opportunity for reflection, adaptation, and professional growth.

Weeks 5 to 8 reflect not just continuity, but transformation, where learning is no longer just guided, but owned.

The journey continues, and with each passing week, our future educators move closer to becoming the teachers they aspire to be.

Today, our prayers are with our dear KabEEda and all March 2026 BLEPT takers as they take the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers.

After months of preparation and perseverance, this day marks an important step in their journey toward the noble profession of teaching. We lift them to the Lord, praying for wisdom, clarity of mind, confidence, and peace as they answer every question.

With grateful hearts, we thank God for guiding them throughout their journey. May His grace lead them to success and may their dreams of becoming licensed professional teachers soon be fulfilled.

As the Midterm Examinations for the Second Semester, AY 2025–2026 approach, the Bachelor of Elementary Education Department reminds all KaBEEda to prepare with discipline, focus, and integrity.

Drawing inspiration from Linda Walker, a central character in a trending short-form drama whose journey reflects determination and academic excellence, this season calls for the same mindset, consistent preparation, strong study habits, and commitment to improvement. While the character’s story belongs to the screen, the values it represents are relevant in real academic life.

The Midterm Examinations will be conducted from March 9 to March 13, 2026.

Schedule highlights:
March 9 (Monday) – 2nd, 4th, and 6th periods (Monday/Thursday classes)
March 12 (Thursday) – 1st, 3rd, and 5th periods (Monday/Thursday classes)

March 10 (Tuesday) – 2nd, 4th, and 6th periods (Tuesday/Friday classes)
March 13 (Friday) – 1st, 3rd, and 5th periods (Tuesday/Friday classes)

All examinations will follow the official class period schedule. Students are advised to review their respective timetables carefully.
